I have been using this app for many years and, contrary to the reports from others, has worked almost flawlessly all this time. I am a gigging musician and the ability to catalog, classify, organize and easily access my pdf charts, is priceless. I can make set lists which are really simple to manage on stage. I can email to myself and band members the set lists, with accompanying notes. I manage and import my chart files using Dropbox to store the files although there are other options. 4 stars rather than 5 because nothing is perfect but this app has never let me down. 4.8 stars would be a better rating

I was the biggest cheerleader of this app but they have allowed it to languish with too many bugs and reduced features. Sadly, it's useless now for anything that requires dependability.

This is the most amazing app for music. The problem is it just doesn’t work. I have hundreds of songs on here and cannot use any of it. Please update and fix this amazing app

After hours of importing songs it keeps closing. Also closed when I tried to link the songs from itunes. Such a drag. I bought the air tut pedal FOR this

Two things I would like to see improve: 1) Search tool gives odd results often. For example, typing in "school" returns a song list that includes Gilligan's Island Theme, or I'll Take You Home Again Kathleen, neither of which mention the word school in the title or the lyrics. 2) when sending files to Dropbox or otherwise sharing them via email or Dropbox, the details for the file are not included, such as the information on the key, composer, notes for performance, etc.

I’ve been using this app for years now, and depend on it for all my sheet music needs - I have over 8000 charts loaded on my iPad Air 2 now. I love the ability to create binders, set lists, etc. and to mark up individual sheets on the fly, as well as to connect to Dropbox or transfer in recent scans from other programs. I used to lug multiple real books around. This app has saved me carrying around scads of paper, thus freeing up precious packing space and saving wear & tear on my arms! For all its strengths, it has some minor weaknesses. Most notably: I made the mistake of trying to use the built-in metronome feature while practicing, and discovered that it does not produce a stable beat; it has roughly the consistency of an audience member sitting in on cowbell for the first time! I’ve had to resort to using an external metronome instead. Only other caveat: recognize that the sheet music will only appear as good as the PDFs you load into it, and that these files take up space. My iPad has only 16GB of space to begin with, and I’m eating up 2.73 of that with all the charts I have loaded. This is not the fault of the app; sheet music apps generally are better suited to iPad Pro models with larger screens and more memory. If you plan on keeping a massive library, recognize that you’ll have to make room for it.

Crashes on new iPad when you want to email a set list. Would like to see grouping of set lists and some way to see what songs I’ve already selected in my previous sets.

Is there a way to reverse the update? V2.6.3 is causing indexing problems. Excellent product, pls fix or let users go back to previous version. Thank you.

This is an absolutely amazing gig. A brief case full of music and charts disappeared. I now use an iPad and Bluetooth page turner. I have other apps that do the same but this is the one that works better than any of the others. I have everything organized for solo and ensemble gigs, classical, jazz, or pickup gigs where I need song notes. This app does it all. I'm a performing working musician. I've been gigging for decades. This app is a must for every working musician. Get it use it you won't regret it.

I was about to make a big commitment of time to Gigbook when I noticed that it has not been updated in almost a year, there have been no recent reviews, no news in the last year on either their website or their Facebook page. It would be nice to see some signs of life before I commit to this app. I feel a little silly because I have been recommending it to many friends recently and really do hope that they are not going out of business!!
