DEWALT Tool Connect

Won’t connect to dcl074 waste of space on my phone.

Been through the registration on the website, logged in there fine. Couldn’t log in to the app. Ok weird, reset my password, still no joy - no obvious route to support from the app if there are issues logging in. First impressions and all, pretty poor.

App won’t allow me to log on even though I have a DEWALT account!

I recently bought the tool connect tools and have been unable to even login to the app. No responses to emails sent, very poor service

Bought the drill set thinking what a great idea but the reality is that the drill says it’s out of range if I go more then 2m from it and then I have to reactive it again, the other issue is the tracking, my drill and batteries are still showing that they are on site where the reality is they are in my van on the drive. This could be such a great system but just needs tweaking, is it worth the extra money? I would currently say it’s not, the main features that made me buy this system are not working.

What a waste of space

App is awful, just bought a led light and it doesn’t work. The “hold the button until this message goes off” could hold it for 6 days still won’t go off!

I bought a Dewalt Laser disto as it claimed to have Bluetooth connectivity to iPhone. However the Bluetooth pairing does not work. Waste of money to have paid the extra to get Tool Connect.

When I first downloaded this it worked ok, now it’s updated it doesn’t connect to my LED lights at all, totally useless. Tried updating, restarting phone, all the usual tricks, still nothing. Get a grip DeWalt! Very poor.

As others have said this was great when first released but has gone down hill. I bought a digital measure which wouldn’t connect until I updated the app. Now after a further update, my light won’t connect. Tools are fantastic but don’t buy for ‘tool connect’, it’s flaky at best. I tried calling the help line and gave up after 20 minutes.
