New plans are awful
New plans are awful and I can’t watch second round anymore with the chess.com, it always complains its pro content. I pay 15 euros each month, and event coverage should be in the standard plan, but it doesn’t work. So good riddance and no money from me anymore
Do not buy
The service is terrible, the off season content is not worth the money they continue to charge. It’s an arm and a leg to cancel. Still cannot unsubscribe, and they offer no actual help. Just FAQs that don’t apply
Subscriber
The quality of the footage has along way to go, and the commentary needs improvement as well.
Posted on YouTube faster
I’d definitely give the app more stars, however very often YouTube has the post-production coverage up A LOT quicker than DGN.
No idea why.
I don’t watch it live, as I am unable to with most events. So the post production is where I live.
If you’re not a live disc golf person for whatever reason, you might want to consider paying for YouTube instead.
Poorly run network
Tried cancelling my subscription when I got billed for the annual subscription and realized I no longer used the service. While the charge was still in processing I reached out to support. They told me all sales were final. This seems wrong from a small up and coming network.
Awful, so far to go
Why a,I even paying for DGN? I can’t tell you, but it needs to improve a lot to be worth it.
Fix the bar at the bottom of your player to actually be useful. Allow people to skip forward and backwards accurately and correctly by any increment of time they want. Your FF and rewind buttons are broken, have never worked correctly. Your video buffers horribly every time as well. Fix that! Picture in Picture has been broken since the start, and you’ve known about it, but never fixed it! Come on how can we be in 2024 and your app works
like it was made in 2010. Why can’t you just step into 2024 and use YouTube or at least accurately emulate what they’ve done! Also, make it easier to give feedback, it’s annoying I had to trash you all in a review just to tell you my thoughts!
Some recent tvOS issues
Unfortunately DVR functionality seems to disappeared on the latest Green Mountain Championship live broadcasts when watching on Apple TV. This is a pretty bad regression that I hope will be addressed quickly. There has also been a longstanding tvOS issue where I am forced to re-login almost every time I use the Apple TV app despite not watching on any other devices in the meantime.
“You don’t have access to this content”
Why do I get this message when trying to watch a video? I have to open and close the app a time or two to get it to work. Is that normal for others?
Password Reset Doesn’t Work
App and website has an issue with forgot password - an email with instructions for reset is never sent even though site and app says an email was sent. The contact / issue form also locks up. Out of ideas and don’t want to create a new account on such a stupid issue.
Broadcast not working
Cannot watch any of the broadcasts. I’m using iphone mini. Maybe that’s why? Idk app doesn’t work.
