Worst banking app I’ve ever used. I can probably count on 1 hand how many times I’ve actually gotten to use the app since first opening an account with Discover. Tech assistance feels nonexistent since I’m always being referred to their website; which is counterproductive. Why have the app if it’s always down? Deleting this app and closing my account today. There’s much better banking apps out here.
The Discover Mobile App’s ecosystem is amazing. It’s the most intuitive, easy to navigate, anticipatory of my needs App and a joy to use. Thank you for investing on the customer experience.

Pro: direct deposit comes 2 days early. Cons: 1) unable to use Zelle even though eligibility requirements have been met 2) unable to send funds to someone using Apple Pay 🤦🏼♀️
Not a great app. Searching transaction history should be easier, it should be an easy scroll with newest transactions at the top. It’s also always sending me to the website for things the app can’t do. Setting up auto payments should be easy.
I just received my card today. I set up my account in the app. I tried to login. It says password incorrect. So I end up calling the 800 number. They send me an email so I can reset it. I tried to reset the password. But it says I can’t use that password because it was my previous password. But that’s the exact password it wouldn’t let me sign in. So I use Google’s extra secure passwords, so that finally gets done. I sign up for Amazon 5%. I try to use the card.. They deny it. It’s not activated. But when I tried to login again, it won’t let me. What a welcome to a new card. I’m actually thinking of closing my account today.
Please work on this app. If I see there’s a message or something for me to look at, I’m nearly breaking a finger tap tap tapping to get it to move!
