It won’t sync my dive data to the app even when Bluetooth is on for both devices, very frustrating
Very disappointed in this product. While the app syncs with the DC fine the computer changes the Elapsed Dive time. I have this issue on many dives. For instance, on an 81ft dive, the elapsed dive time is recorded as a 5 min dive. The Tank bottom time, as recorded by transmitter, is 41 min. The 41 min is the correct time. I have been reaching out to the developers since Aug and at first had responses of “we are working on it” but the last 3 times, since Jan, I have received no answer. The issue of the incorrect Elapsed time has thrown off all my stats and has made the app basically useless for data tracking and proof of dives.
Twice, the app has frozen and cost me all my dove information. If I have to use this with my computer, I’ll get a new computer.
When it works it’s ok. But it frequently won’t open. There is some glitch that needs fixing.
Updated the app as I was instructed to do. All information on my account was lost! Dive buddy had the same issue on another account!
I did the update and now it will not download my data.
There are multiple versions of this app…. There is oceanic + and there is DiverLog, same company BUT depending on which computer you have determines which app you use, and they don’t communicate with each other! This is very frustrating, and then There is the paid feature….for a piece of crap software. I was reading the review, every developer response was identical! I think they did a copy paste. Huish is the owner, they have many dive brands under them, but none of them interface with each other. Why not spend money you are making from this app to get some decent programmer developers WHO DIVE and can experience the frustrations of their customers, who spend a lot of money on their equipment . I had a VTX wireless computer, the crystal went out, they (huish) would not fix it, it made me use the oceanic + software. I replaced that computer with a proplus 4, also a huish product but I have to use the DiverLog to sync it, and I cannot merge my dives, then purchased their cloud service in hopes of using that to syn up my dives! No go! I have emailed and called. I truly believe that this company is run by a bunch of high school dropouts! And, why does the iPad version of the app not have an appropriate user interface??? It makes sense that I would use my iPad instead of my iPhone to keep my log, I now have the Apple Watch ultra but have NO INTEREST in putting your software on it, it will only be used as an exercise monitor. Note: this software does not allow you to track your heart rate when you use their software!! I really want that information! Won’t spend a penny more with this company until they get serious about supporting and improving this software! Read the reviews, they go back multiple years, the software has had little improvement .
App crashes on iPhone 12 when trying to update firmware or settings for Aqualung i770R. We’ve tried everything to fix and nothing is working. Returning computer for a Shearwater and a different app!
I now loathe this app. If I had an alternative o would use it. It was great with my last oceanic proplus (usually). Now it will change my settings but ALWAYS times out around 50% of downloading my dives. I finally uninstalled the app to reinstall to see if that fixed it and now ALL my previous dives are gone. What is the point of having a login? What if I lost my phone. I will be on the hunt for a new computer that does NOT use this app. Hate it because I love my computer but I’m done.
I can’t sync my dives from Oceanic+ App on Apple Watch Ultra.
