Dragon Charging Gwefru

Current version in December 2024 takes ages to load any sites. Totally hopeless. Not an issue with my WiFi, but the app when choosing a site might take a few minutes to load. Totally useless.

Installed app then tried to register….said I already had an account. Tried to log in and it says it sent an email for me to register….it didn’t. Deleted app and reinstalled……logged in and it sent me back to sending me an email to confirm my login…and no email turned up. Tried it again….deleted app and reinstalled blah blah blah…. I did read the other reviews and didn’t think it could be quite this bad ….IT IS!!!!!!!! I’ve now deleted and although I’ll miss out on their chargers here in West Wales, I’d rather use those from firms who give a damn about improving and respecting their customers. UTTER RUBBISH!

Plenty of chargers but couldn’t use any of them because the app won’t let me add a payment method. **update** 5 months later and after updating the app several times no luck. Absolute shambles

But I rang helpline & Rhodri based in Narbeth (?)was extremely helpful. The app recognised no passwords, wouldn’t start charging; Rhodri helped restart. I’d set a limit of 80% & stopped charging on my dash but couldn’t access app to stop charge so had to ring Rhodri - came to the rescue. It shouldn’t be this complicated or useless. I don’t have to supply log in details on CC or bank app. Why have an app that needs log-in details each time? - Rhodri: 5 star ; the rest of the system: 0⭐️

After nearly a year of sporadically using this App I’d have thought Dragon would have listened to some feedback and improved it. Doesn’t seem they care that much. The app hardly loads properly and may or may work at a charger - a gamble really. I use my car for work, so I havent got the time to faff about with an app for ages, plugging in and out or waiting for the app to work. I”ll spend my remaining credit that I have ( when I’m desperate somewhere), but then I’ll be avoiding these and planning my journey without including these. There are cheaper alternatives by now anyway - not that this company have probably noticed anyway! Suppose they will when it’s all too late for them. Shame, I really wanted to support a Welsh company too.

Utterly hopeless. App will hardly ever open and cannot find the charging point using the QR code or relevant number. Stood alone in a car park during the evening and phoning the so called Helpdesk for support. Such an awful experience. Apparently they are ringing me back. 3 days have passed and still waiting. Finally got it to work after much distress. Charging at 0.4kw. Complete waste of time. Avoid these chargers! It infuriates me that this system means I have to award 1 star. A disgrace

Next to mobile signal and had to go elsewhere to connect. Tried the helpline 3 times this evening and 2 times the night before and they promise to phone you back. Maybe support work office hours. Used Electroverse instead

This is by far the worst, I dread having to use a dragon charging station. App is useless and if you are lucky enough to get it to work it gives you minimal information. I would rate 0 stars if I could!

2 attempts over 2 days, first attempt app wouldn’t find the charger in question. 2nd attempt got all the way to payment stage it pre-authorised £30 from my account twice but wouldn’t start the charge. Worst charging experience I’ve had, avoid at all costs! If I could give it zero I would!

The app is clunky & regularly crashes out when my car is charging stopping the charge. Very unreliable app when controlling a device we rely on to travel. Poor show for the local authorities for running with this app across so much of Wales.
