Login issues
It is impossible to use the app with a monthly pass when the app often had login issues and cannot be used for a day. What answers does DSB have if we have ticket checkers on board bus or metro? Am I supposed to pay the fine? Even though I have a monthly pass. Even with the forgotten card possibily i can use it only a few times.
Check In and Out does not work
Check In and Out does not work
I have a good internet connection + gps and everything activated and the app has access to it. Regardless of that it very often does not recognize the stations in Copenhagen so I sometimes cannot take the train or bus or cannot check out. Extremely annoying
App is not error free and data thirsty .
If you do not have the Heath app running, you cannot use the check-in function. The app reads a lot of data and passes it on to all kinds of companies. If you try use the Health app, the DSB will not notice that you have given permission. And DSB app stuck.
Does not work
Not usable with iPhone in Germany. Pity.
Fails to add new payment method
The app, while otherwise very helpful, fails to add a new MasterCard (my old one has expired, so I had to delete it and add a new one). It seems to fail properly processing the MasterCard 3D security check. Very disappointing as this is the only way to buy tickets for people who do not have a Danish phone number.
Useless
You can't search for train connections.
Maybe if you buy a ticket, you’ll be able to do so. Not if you bought a ticket in different European Country.
You can’t see departure/ arrival for different stations. Luckily resjeplanen app exists.
The app is completely useless if you want to check if your train is on time or if there’s a change of time/ platform.
Buggy!
Feature request:
- add connection details to calender
- filter by price range
- sort by price within specified time range
Review:
The app is really slow. Searching often requires multiple minutes to succeed, on some days, appr. 40% of searches result in a vague error message, claiming there were no connections.
And it’s been like that despite countless updates and I’ve since changed phones, too. I don’t remember it ever performing well.
Another thing i find rather unfortunate is the lack of filters. I wish I could filter search results for a specifiable price range and journey length.
All this makes using this app an unnecessarily frustrating experience and me consider alternative travel options.
Somehow Confusing
It would be great if it would make clear which line to take and where to change. it’s difficult for foreigners to know.
App performance
Very poor from the beginning, you go to the website to get a ticket, also impossible, very bad. You need to really well plan in advance to get a seat reservation by trying several times or enough time to get it from the machine on the platform, which is not the best in terms of user friendliness
Worst app ever
1) You cannot look for trains that were in the past, thus you’re not able to look up alternative connections whenever there is a problem with your train.
2) Some trains are not in the app. Ghost trains? For example: DSB Re from Federicia to Odense leaving at 22:29 (September 8, 2019) does not exist in the app. Why not? It doesn’t make sense to me.
3) Why does the app not automatically send you a receipt when you forgot to manually ask for it during the booking process? It does not make sense. Just send it to me. Like every other company where I buy something. It’s very handy to have a receipt, for instance when it is work- or university-related travel
4) The app is everything but reliable. It feels like 30% of the time it is not working well and not showing you proper connections. Or no connections at all.
