Smelling towards scamming people it’s the same as the majority of the so called ‘free apps’ You’re forced to setup an account, then forced to choose a plan and then you get a 7 day trial, but you’ll only discover that after downloading and opening an account that from now on probably will get daily mails about this, Apple really should tighten their game about these ‘free apps’ and I do hope this goes out of business really fast.
Connected with Apple certified cable, but the image was horrible. Now I use Apple’s own Continuity. Works great! I really don’t understand why I have to pay so much for such a bad product. Support isn’t helpfull at all, skip this.

Only useable after monthly payments, and this only gets clear in the very last step. Sneaky! Took some time to fully deinstall on my pc.

I’ve had several issues since I started using duet almost a year ago. I am using original apple cable, and it just suddenly stops recognizing my laptop. I have tried reinstalling both apps on iPad and laptop and still nothing. Tech support isn’t very helpful either.
It’s impossible to connect the IPad to the computer with usb. They are different and won’t fit. The maker of this app should know this. So paying for it is just money in his pocket for a app that’s unusable. I am going to report this user.
The cabled version works well. Unfortunately the extra functionality you get for paying for a year is very unstable. The connection over wifi drops out all the time and then times out in trying to reconnect. The same goes for Remote Desktop. The free old version of AnyDesk works better.
Did everything according to the manual, linstalled the apps on my win11 laptop and Ipad (202w model) logged in on both devices with my new Duet account (why does every app-developer want me to hav an account?), AMDS is up and running, but the laptop and Ipad don’t see each other…
It’s a good app but there are much cheaper alternatives. 1 week tryal and then anual subscription. Sry, thats a no for me.
