Easy Long Exposure Camera

All of my photos are just white screens and ISO requires a subscription

The idea of this app was what I wanted. However the developer has limited the ISO setting so that every capture is a white screen with no details. Without being able to actually test the app it seems pointless to expect potential purchasers to buy it sight unseen.

The long exposure itself seems to work fine as far as just an app goes. But I tested this in a pitch black room and no matter where I pointed the camera, there would always be clusters of white dots in the exact same place every time. Almost like it’s just overlaying false stars over the image to try and trick people attempting astrophotography. Strange.

This app works very well for night time photography. Just make sure you have a tripod as if you’re using your hands for anything longer than a few seconds. You will have a fuzzy image. The app does show an ad after taking a photo and showing which I believe is decent and makes me really want to buy the app once I’ve tried out a tripod on it I made do so

The app is largely pointless without buying the full version, and even then the full version is just not very good. Using the standard iOS camera app I get brilliant long exposures of up to 30 seconds that show the Milky Way. Trying this app with a 60 second exposure I get what looks like the Windows 95 star field screen saver, or like someone tried to draw stars in MS Paint. Very disappointed.

Paid for the “PRO” version £4.99 so I could change the iso and have higher quality images. Terrible image quality. Over exposed even in the pitch black of night you get a massive over exposed area in the middle. Support page is all in Chinese so no help. Used a tripod on solid ground with self timer and still ended up with a blared over exposed image. Terrible.

Pros: 10mb app quick to download Cons : didn’t do anything related to long exposure

ISO is stuck at 400 if haven’t paid for the pro version so can’t really control the exposure… app is pretty much useless without payment

Very unstable. Constantly crashes
