EasyCloud for WD My Cloud Bewertungen
No Access to WDCloud
Since I have an earlier software release of WD MyCloud , I was expecting this App to provide the connectivity. However it fails to find the device. The search goes into an endless loop! The interface is poor providing no update or feedback. I would avoid this utility until the issues are resolved and the interface is improved.
It’s been a regular life line between my Apple TV and drive
Seen some bad reviews for this however I can’t agree with them so thought I would add my thoughts. I’ve had this app on my Apple TV’s for 4 years and use it to stream my movie collection ripped from old dvd’s I’ve collected over the years to my TV’s around the house all the time. It does what it says it should do and is easier to use than WD’s own. In my opinion it’s a great app.
Misleading advertising
I bought this App thinking that it would allow me to play the videos I have saved on My Cloud Home device (as explained in the description). But it is not working, I am unable to login and a message appears telling me that I am using the wrong App and that I need a different App… I want my money back!
Horrible
Does not connect, doesn’t tell me how, useless.
Very poor
Forgets passwords, very slow and clunky given how much you spend on the cloud hardware it’s disgraceful
Worked fine on day one, now useless
I downloaded this to watch home videos stored on my WD NAS drive on Apple TV. Worked fine on the day of installation but now refuses to log me in and won’t detect the drive. Very disappointing.
What a useless App
I bought this based on the description, yet it does not support all media types not even the standard iPhone media. It is no different than the mycloud standard app, which is free. I would like my money back now !
Warning this does not work
I just purchased this app as the description sounds perfect, in fact it won’t even accept my WD log in details, so what do you do. Can anyone produce a piece of useless downloadable software as a scam?
Apple TV compatible
As there’s no WD cloud device apps on Apple TV , I use this, includes a slideshow so quite handy to display my pictures on Apple TV, many thanks
