eClinicalMobile® allows providers to access the system anywhere through their smart phone. The screen has been optimized for easier viewing and to load quickly on these handheld devices. Users are able to access schedules, write prescriptions, and access encounters with the peace of mind that the data is encrypted and hosted on a secure gateway.
eClinicalMobile provides user name and password as part of the log-on security function. Once logged in, icons are displayed for ease of use in choosing your function.
Functions include:
Checking schedules
Telephone and web messages
e-Prescribing
Viewing patient encounters
Examining lab results
Charge capture at the point of service

Honestly, it’s trash.
One would think that since it has to do with healthcare it would be tended to with care. Nope. A reflection of the value this company actually puts on the delivery of healthcare.
Poorly designed
First: the notifications are in a ver small font in a light grey color making them ver difficult to read Second: I get a notification every time someone signs in. So many notifications with no importance (even 3 or 4 on Xmas day from “support groups “ although I have no idea who they really are and what they’re doing. If there is an important message it is buried in the mass of irrelevant messages and gets missed. Therefore it is not only a waste of time, I think it increases my liability should an important message be missed.
App stinks
Customer service terrible. Company unresponsive to clinician requests. I wish we had a different EMR.
Could be better
I cannot create a TE from the mobile app. Probably one of the most used functions on the app. Every time I try to save a TE it says “fails to create telephone encounter”. The latest update did not fix this!
Unreliable
For a mobile app to be so consistently unreliable is amazing. Anytime there are major updates on IOS it causes the app to be unusable. It’s hard to believe that the developers are not able to be proactive
Doesn’t work
Doesn’t work. Looks like it was made as cheaply as possible just so they can say they have an “app”. Absolute garbage.
It constantly crashes
The is great when it works but unfortunately a rare event. It’s constantly crashing and having errors requiring you to delete and reinstall constantly. It’s almost a weekly event for me.
It is useful. Sometimes new glitches cause problems.
Now I am unable to open labs in a patients file. Simply does not work. Very big problem when on call. Medications for some reason most can not be sent electronically but by fax. No Molton number ???
Awful
Will randomly decides to forget your practice id, login credentials and locks you out despite entering the correct ones, needing to log out and in numerous times when trying to review labs, not able to access a current med list, not being able to review images. Other than those, great product.
