ECO Plugs

The timer is not compatible with Apple IOS 16+ so mine just turns itself on whenever it feels like it. I hope it didn’t burn my pump up running it dry. I’ve contacted the manufacturer of the switch and they said unfortunately ECO plug is the only app I can use for that timer so now I guess I’ll have to go buy another timer that don’t use ECO plug. Pisses me off

Now that it’s compatible with the newest IOS it works flawlessly as always!

The box barely connects to the wifi doesn’t stay stable and the app is bare minimum.

This is the most outdated technology. Furious I bought this pool timer because of the app. It cannot connect to my phone. This app looks like it was developed in the 1990s in China and never updated. No customer support and no additional functionalities to help troubleshoot. TERRIBLE!!

App WILL NOT WORK with iOS 16 and up. I had to use an older phone to reset it after it lost connectivity, and reapply settings. iOS 15.6.1 was the last version that I was successful with. Developer needs to update up!!! Update - iPhone updated to 15.7 and app is nonfunctional. Completely dead. Will only let me log in and log out.

Most annoying since it worked OK until there was the IPhone update. After reading the reviews this is a known problem since the updates yet no one willing to fix it other than to use IPhone 15? Really? Now what do I do with all my outlet plugs???

I have been using Eco plugs for my pool timer for over two years now. The user interface isn’t great and there is clearly some language/grammatical issues with English in the manual, but otherwise it has worked flawlessly. I’m not a techie by trade, but I do understand wifi, etc. and I think that was helpful to me in setting it up. Once it was set up I have never touched it again. Even when the power goes out, it just seems to reconnect and just works. I installed the timer myself btw, replacing an old ‘dial’ one. It is 100% outside and exposed to the weather, and I live in a climate that has all 4 seasons. Again, the manual wasn’t easy to read but it all came together nicely.

Upgraded to a new phone - which has iOS 16. The app does not work at all - I can’t connect to any of the ECO plugs. Searching for new smart plugs. Too bad - I’m sure other customers will follow suit.
