For the last three or four weeks we've been experiencing increasing issues with stale notifications or non-refreshing messages that can only be cleared with "mark all messages read" or even "clear cache" in the settings. Used to be much better in that regard.

On iPhone working well, on iPad pro issues with no-images in chat, but all in all, not that bad... if you host your own matrix server, give it a try, its free of charge as far as I know ;-) dear developers, its not perfect but it works often quit well, but thx to code this stuff and sharing it to is for free, thx, thx, thx !

Yes, you can host your own server, but the default, matrix.org uses Cloudflare, greatly reducing privacy.

This app is a complete mess. Thankfully, there are other secure messengers that actually work.

So many crashes during normal usage. Have to re login afterwards.

Works superb with the team pushing updates super quickly. A lot of the previous concerns have been addressed. Fully recommended.

still waiting to recommend it. too buggy. anoying verification request all the time in group chats (please give the possibility to lower the security, it makes it unusable)

I cant leave rooms. It's just loading (from the room settings). If I long press on a room at the bottom of the home screen, the plus button covers the cross of the context menu. That also would prevent me from leaving the room.
