App is perfect. But when I switch brushes/pens it automatically switches to eraser and its pretty annoying. Also I would appreciate recording, more stickers or scribble to erase

better than goodnote

I really love tools but app freeze often. I tried to remove it and download again for 3 times but it can not solve this problem :( I just want they solve this problem soon

I have never been as frustrated with an app as I am with this one. The app boasts a great design, and its support for both iPads and Macs positions it as a strong competitor to alternative apps like Notability or GoodNotes. However, the app suffers from some major issues that prevent me from recommending it in its current state. The primary concern is the absence of subfolder support. I would like to organize my notes by semester and then by course, but unfortunately, that isn't possible. As a result, I end up with a single, chaotic collection of notes, categorized into private and school notes, and it's becoming a significant challenge to keep track of them. The most significant problem with this app, however, is its stability. I frequently encounter situations where the app freezes and becomes unusable, especially during lectures when I'm unable to take notes for several minutes. This occurs during various uses of the app, such as opening notes, exporting, writing, or simply scrolling through them. Even resetting the app doesn't resolve the issue; I have to wait for it to resume functioning. I tested the app for an entire semester, hoping these bugs would be addressed, but unfortunately, that didn't happen. I didn't receive any feedback from the developers when I emailed them. Therefore, I urge the developers to address, at the very least, the stability issue. I would love to continue using your app, but its current state is prompting me to explore alternative options.

App is great, works well, but please enable full screen mode. Why do I need that top bar there when I am not editing my document.

I don’t usually give 5 stars ⭐️ to an app but this app is so worth five stars i also recommend having a Appel pen with this app I absolutely recommend getting this app ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

I still stand by all the good i said previously, this is a fantastic app. However for almost two months now there has been an issue that causes the entire app to instantly and totally freeze if you're using the floating keyboard on iPadOS. I exclusively use the floating keyboard to swipe type with my apple pencil which has made using Element very difficult. I can totally understand bugs and hiccups happen, but i can't even get in touch with the dev to find a solution, a timeline fora fix or if he's even aware of the problem. Original Review ⬇️ This app is phenomenal, great UI, great tools, collaborative editing and sharing of notes! For the price just buy it you won’t regret it. Hopefully there’s more to come as their are a few things I find a bit cumbersome such as: -Editing the font in text boxes is kind of a pain. Plus their really needs to be a toolbar button for the text box option. -Layers and locking of elements. I am constantly accidentally taping on a picture that has a note over top of it, only to have to move everything around to get the note on top again. -Tags would be nice but definitely not make or break.

Was a loyal GoodNotes user since 2017 with versions 4, 5, & 6. Issues over there caused me to abandon and I’m so glad I found element. UI/UX makes it feel like a native iOS / Apple Made app. Love that. Love how the dark mode auto changes everything back and forth. Only thing I miss from good notes is tabbed browsing to have multiple notebooks open, outline support to quickly get to certain pages in a notebook, and the app not remembering where I left it, so I come back frequently to no notebook open and dumped to the main screen, not the folder I left off in. Small things though and maybe they’ll come in an update. One happy customer!

Handwriting on this app feels AMAZING, but as a teacher I would like to see a Presentation mode added so that when I connect to the Apple TV the only thing my students can see is the slides in full screen. Also a dedicated bar with fast switching between pencils and highlighters and their colors would save a lot of time when writing notes.

I’ll rise to 5 star if you add support to import multiple PDFs at once in a folder or note.
