eMoods Bipolar Mood Tracker Bewertungen
Flexible Diary to Partner with your Psychiatry Team
Upon initial use, recommended by my psychiatrist, I had the pleasure of dealing with most of the default tracking points as you would find in any other standard evaluation chart given by your psychiatric team in the form of a spreadsheet or in hard copy for completion. It gets tedious. The eMoods App overcomes not only the latter negligence of completing your tracking points but lets you customize additional points that might be catered for your evaluation and treatment. The means of having this as an App gets you involved by the reminder you can set to complete your daily input. You can easily use the App for tracking the medication you take and when to take them. You can enter time stamped notes alongside general notes which serves as the purposeful intent to guide your treating team to your mental wellbeing and your psychological reaction to events. The biggest feature which I cannot overlook is the fact that all your data input can be exported to a concise report for easy distribution. I did make contact with the development a few times with suggested adaptations to the App and the export functions to the report but haven’t got the resolve quite as yet. I would really appreciate the graphs which are drawn on the App to be displayed in the report as well for an easier evaluation instead of following the legends provided therein. Overall I can recommend this App with 5+ stars for anybody who is tracking data as a means to contribute to their wellbeing and making it easier for you to identify triggers, events, happenings and mood scalings - especially if you are diagnosed with bipolar mood disorder which isn’t a fun battle to deal with. This in addition to the latter will also make your team’s work much easier in establishing effective treatment and therapy means. Make the application a part of your life. It serves a purpose. Dev. team, please consider suggestions and future updates to keep this lively and flexible as possible. Update the medication database to include generic products as well.
I would recommend this to all my patients
I tried this app to see what it’s like, but I’m currently already using another mood-tracker app that I’ve paid for. If I hadn’t, I would definitely use eMoods! I think eMoods is brilliantly designed for bipolar specifically. I like that it focuses on specific symptoms, and that it has a drag-and-drop scale functionality. I think the app will be ESPECIALLY useful for someone who is newly diagnosed, or experiencing a wobble in their symptoms. Highly, HIGHLY recommend.
Great app to track spouse Bipolar
Been great tool for me to track my wife’s Bipolar type 2. The fact that I can generate a report and send it to clinical Psychologist and Psychiatrist is amazing helps them helping my wife! Great app!
Thank you to the developer. Seriously. Thank you!
I want to say thank you because you’ve created something that is supremely helpful and gives me a greater sense of agency and awareness. I have always been frustrated at the mood apps that are available. I just never felt they could properly capture the nuance of what I was experiencing and so I gave up tracking my moods. How to explain to people that clicking on a sad face doesn’t really track the experience of depression or clicking on a happy face doesn’t track the experience of mania? But this app is different. This app actually knows what it means when someone needs to track moods when mentally ill. This app gets it. This should be the only mood tracker for those that are mentally ill.
Also I highly recommend becoming a patron as you can customize to your unique circumstances.
Very helpful app
Great app that helps me lots to keep track of my feelings, emotions and thoughts.

This app helps me so much to monitor my moods and when to start worry and do something if it doesn’t get better. And the fact that I can email a report to my psychiatrist is awesome.
Excellent and useful- BEST mental health app
This is a great app! It has great tracking points that are helpful and being able to custom make them too is awesome.
You can chose what the most important things are that you need to monitor and then pick out how you want to measure it- yes/no or by number or by severity.
It is a really good mental health app. As a bonus, it has dark mode which is the best because I hate bright colors. It is my favorite app of all the ones I’ve tried and I’ve tried all of them out there.
It also gives you the ability to print the info in reports that you can share with your doctor if needed. It also just has graphs to look at for each month individually and then for the last 30 days so you can see how you have been over a period of time. So you can see trends and patterns over time. And now (this was not recent but new since my last review a while back) you can pick a date to go back to without backing up day by day- just in case you miss a day, you can still go back and fill it in. You can switch between months/years so you can do a comparison on your own.
I absolutely love this app. It is simple and very effective to monitor your mental health symptoms, meds and whatever you want to keep track of. Rad technology!
It is also very rare that there are noticeable glitches, it works like 99.6% of the time with zero issues. And if there is ever an issue, it is very small and resolved quickly.
I could list more benefits but I will let people find out for themselves. I have never had a single complaint and will always use this app for as long as it exists.
Incomplete app - give a few years before it’s a real app
This app appears to be in the beginning stages of creating it. They made it marginally look better by hiring a graphic designer though. The functionality for mental health is negligible. As it currently stands, this app is useless for any mental condition. I don’t know why this one is being labeled as “bipolar” when it is almost exactly like the other mood apps out there. There is no difference between the apps in this regard.
Very useful
I love this app, it really helps me keep track of everything and keep track of where I’m at. I don’t have bipolar disorder but rather PMDD and I still find this so helpful in addition to a period tracker.
I would actually really appreciate if the developers took menstrual cycles into consideration and added them as an option to track. Using this app and comparing the graphs to my period tracker is what actually helped me figure out and get the PMDD diagnosis.
As far as the app itself, it works great and I never have any problems. My doctor really appreciates the graphs also.
Best Tracker I’ve Found
This tracker has been so helpful to me over the past month since getting it. I’m currently having a hypomanic episode, and the app helped me to see it coming and have a better idea of what caused it/what my warning signs are. There’s enough content in the free version that you don’t need to subscribe unless you wanna add your own symptom tracking points or set a password for the app. And even then, the subscription is only $1.99 for a month and $9.99 for a year. And if you don’t want to/don’t have the money for that, you can just use the notes function at the bottom of the tracker to jot down anything. I’m using it to track how I feel during this episode, and I also used it to note a couple warning signs I saw as the episode started. It’s so helpful. It’s the perfect amount of functional and simple. You can use it just fine without paying anything, and even then the subscription is so affordable. Thank you so much to the devs for creating this and making it functional without requiring payment. When I’m not completely broke I will definitely be subscribing.
