I’ve read through the entire first level, both alone and in a group. Since completing 1.8–the last book—I’ve noticed that I feel calmer as a person overall, since my anxiety can be pretty sharp sometimes. There’s something that happens when you read—especially aloud—that allows you to say to yourself “I can feel this way about X, but I don’t have to”. I can feel and experience an appreciable level of reprieve from self-inflicted pain by this revelation. I would recommend this app to anyone. You’ll get out of it, like anything else in life, what you put into it.
