Enlighten - Relax and meditate

The app has very nice ocean waves sounds but the app forces you to pick another sound to play along with the wave sound which is annoying. I just want to hear the waves sound and that's it. Also, there is no rain sound in the list of sounds which have been nice to include.

This app has such a crisp design. The options are all very well done, and sound quality state of the art.

It's ok, but I have anxiety. I wish it had an alarm or notification when my HR shot up, instead of waiting until the end of the day.

Very nice app

I had read about this technology and always wanted to try it! I'm the type of person that typically likes it completely silent when I sleep - so wasn't sure this would work. I suffer from severe sleep apnea - and have been waking up feeling better rested since using Enlighten! Give it a try - it may surprise you too.

Helps me relax very easily and unwind. Would certainly recommend it to any friend.

5 Solid stars for the amazing ability this app has to relax my body and my mind. I have had my iPad Air for a couple of years and I have tried a thousand apps. I have been sucked into so many apps that start out fun and enjoyable, relaxing even. Only to get you so aggravated shortly into the app with levels that are impossible to get past to the point that you begin to hate the app. Until now. I love love love this app. This is the best and most beautifully relaxing app I have ever had the pleasure of trying. I feel myself relaxing almost immediately while listening to the Monks and the Deep Relaxation sounds. Your body begins to resonate with the sounds and you feel the deep relaxation through your whole body.

I love the natural sounds on this app, but what I don't understand is why I can't just listen to the nature sounds. Why do I have to add another sound in order to hear those. I don't want to hear musical instruments or whale sounds when all I want to listen to is the rain. Makes no sense to me. If that gets changed I'd definitely give a higher rating. But until then I doubt I'll use it or even keep it.

This is great in theory but what is frustrating is that you are made to choose a sound to play (bells,piano,clock ticking,chimes etc) on-top of the background choices (rain,waves,river,forest,wind). I found the background choices meditative and did not need to add additional sounds. There should be a way to turn the add ons off for those who do not want them.
