eufy Security

Eufy er ok, men ikke mere end det. Købte en pakke med 4 S330 kameraer og Homebase S380 samt S330 dørklokke - alt det nye. Hardwaren har virket godt. AI-funktioner som ansigtsgenkendelse virkede fint i starten, men som flere ansigter blev tilføjet er det blevet unøjagtigt og nu kan jeg slet ikke tilføje flere. Når man skal se på optagelser tager det lang tid (sekunder) når man skal naviger rundt imellem optagelser og starte dem. Indstillinger og funktioner i app flyttes rundt og gøres forskelligt, alt efter hvilket kamera man er inde på. Og så virker alting bare som en tidlig softwareversion som mangler at blive gennemtænkt mere og generelt finpudset.

This App does not let you edit your network settings in the camera, so yes you can connect to a WiFi network, but you can’t change any settings about either the WiFi connection or the network settings, like disabling DHCP or custom DNS/IP addresses. And it’s unbelievable that there is no widget to show a live camera feed! So you have to open the app and find the live video. I’m not really sure that Eufy actually cares about what it’s customers need, at least from what I see here in the reviews. Problems and bugs go ignored and unfixed and features don’t get added.

I’m happy with my cameras but the APP is hopeless. Switching on geofencing means that it drains your battery fast (23% of my battery consumption is this app) and then the geofencing functionality doesn’t even work properly. 2 out of 3 times it either doesn’t activate or deactivate your system. Room for improvements ….

The app is really good, the camera quality is also really good. But the last 3 months, my Face management are broken. All AI pictures are blank, and no persons can be scanned anymore. - All fix updates didn’t resolve this issue. Still waiting for a solution.

App desværre ikke på dansk

Jeg har nu forsøgt mig, med flere sikkerhedssystemer, nogle af de mest kendte og nogle næsten ukendte, ingen nævnt ingen glemt. Det er den bedste app. Jeg har prøvet, der er mulighed for forbedringer, selvfølgelig er der det. En god ting er, at på iPad kan iPad’en ligge ned og ikke som de fleste, stå op, det er besværligt - jo større - iPad’en er. Ingen abonnementer du skal have, alt virker, når du har din homebase og kameraet. Homebase kan sættes op til wifi, det vil eventuelt kunne forlænge afstanden mærkbart. Kameraerne jeg har, er de “mindste” men brugbare for mig. Alt i alt, et rigtigt godt system. Hvorfor 4 stjerner, fordi der er plads til forbedringer.

Great system that’s easy to setup. But there are almost always bugs. Alarm delay doesn’t work and is pointless. Geofencing only tends to work for the main phone - not sub-users.

First of all let me tell you that I’m very happy with this app. But since the newest update, I’ve been counted an issue with the red block, indicating the notifications on top of the app icon. Every time I receive a new notification of a recording the red plug indicator is not reset, so it keeps on increasing in number So for instance, I see that the red blob has a 60 so I open the app see the video and return to the screen and log out of the app now the red blob is gone but the next time I get notifications it will count from the 60 and not from zero Please see if you can fix this for the next update

It seems crazy to me that the Eufy Security logon is forced to use the same ID as the blood pressure app, just because the email address is the same. The email verification between these 2 apps is broken though, the blood pressure one doesn’t need it but the security one does which seems inconsistent, and doesn't work if the account is created in the blood pressure app. The account can be too easily deleted from the blood pressure app without clarifying that this will also implicitly delete the security ID (and all its settings maybe, I didn’t check that).
