EXIT – The Curse of Ophir

We love puzzle games but some of this was nonsensical. Add in a broken mechanic which you can’t get past without using hints, and this was a frustrating experience.

For this price I was expecting at least 4 hours of gameplay

We’ve been playing the EXIT board game during the lockdowns and found this game recently. Absolutely enjoying it. Music is immersive and the puzzles we’re well guided. Definitely one of those games for headphones. Looking forward to playing other EXIT games in the future!

While I’m sure the creators think some of the clues are quite clever, I found them to be disruptive to the user experience - I don’t want to spoil it for others by providing details or examples but suffice to say, if you’re creating a world for your users, then let them stay in that world to play the game.

You definitely have to think with this game. Most of the puzzles are not easy and you need to think outside the box. Well done. Shortish game but will worth it if you want a workout for your brain. The only suggestion I would make is to add a feature for taking pictures. Great game!

For those that have had the pleasure of playing the EXIT physical games you will love this. Does a brilliant job of making you think outside the box and using all aspects of the iPad and game itself. Highly recommended to those that like solving genuinely clever puzzles. Fairly short but am hoping this is because it’s an introduction to many more EXIT games

Ich habe inzwischen unzählige Spiele dieser Art gespielt. Aber für diesen Preis war der Spielspaß sehr kurz. Hier stimmt das Preis-/Leistungsverhältnis ganz und gar nicht.

Wir spielen in der Regel die Exit Varianten Fortgeschritten oder Profi und waren hier einige Stunden beschäftigt. Wir dachten, dass uns das schneiden/reißen/basteln fehlen würde, es gab allerdings eine überzeugende Alternative. Und die digitale Suche nach Hinweisen war genauso zufriedenstellend, wie in der analogen Version. Gerne mehr davon!

Als großer Fan der Exit-Spiele-Reihe, bin ich auch von App begeistert. Die Rätsel sind klasse. Die Story und die Grafik sehr ansprechend. Gern mehr davon!!!

Ich liebe es…. Vielleicht kommt auch noch ein digitaler Adventskalender.
