Meridian 157: Chapter 3

Engaging, challenging, interesting, enjoyable. Well worth the small cost.

I would pay $15 for this game. When is the next release? Simple. When are you going to release another?

Gave four stars only that some of the puzzles were a little too obscure for me and I ended up using hints more than I wanted too. Nostalgic trip down memory lane since playing Myst in the 1990s.

An excellent game which encourages remembering the clues along the way..!! Be sure to utilise the in-game camera..!! 😉📸

Brilliantly written with excellent graphics, this is a fantastic series. I found that actually finding what to do next was hard at times, but playing the easier version allows you to get clues which is just enough to point you in the right direction. Chapter 3 is quite dark in atmosphere but the ending was superb and the story wound up nicely.

I thoroughly enjoyed every single bit of this game! The puzzles were so much fun. I loved playing without the hint option, because it just made me persevere and each time I solved something it was extremely satisfying! The graphics and detail put into everything was above what I expected. I really liked how unique each puzzle was. This is not a repetitive style game where you fall into a pattern of knowing how to do things. It constantly challenges you with a variety of puzzles unlike ANY I have ever played. I am not someone that likes much of a story line or cut scenes, I just want to play the game. This game had the perfect mix of ingredients for me with minimal cutscenes, and the very few it did have, were relevant and I was so deeply invested that I enjoyed all of them. (definitely a first for me with that) There is not anything that I would recommend changing, and while playing I did not ever have a moment where I thought “that could have been done better”. I feel that everything about this game was crafted with absolute care for the players enjoyment and experience in mind. To the developers and team that created this game/awesome experience, thank you!!!! Please make more!!!!

I have just played Ch1 through Ch3 - totally enjoyable!!! Intriguing story, some challenging puzzles and detailed graphics. Hints allow you to move as quickly as you choose. Solution sequencing is a tough memory exercise. Cannot wait for the next series of games!!! Thanks heaps.

The four part series tells an excellent story and gets better as the episodes go on. Good puzzles without being over the top difficult. Only not 5 stars because ‘The Room’ series exists but this is right up there with all the others in its category.

I thoroughly enjoyed playing this game. Cleverly planned game play. Thankfully on the two occasions when I got seriously stuck I was able to refer to a walkthrough to give me the hints I needed to continue.
