Facetune: AI Hairstyle Editor

I downloaded FaceTune because it advertised a 7-day free trial, but I was charged 38 aed. immediately without any warning. There was no clear indication that this would happen, and it feels misleading. While the app itself seems decent, this billing practice left a bad impression. If you’re considering the trial, be very cautious and double-check the fine print.

Hi I am Maxim I like Facetune very much. the only thing I didn’t like is that I didn’t find back to edit button after I change the picture that I edit.

Face Tune is charging me for a subscription that I cannot find on the app or through their website, and even their customer service cannot find any subscription linked to my email. Yet I have proof that the money was deducted from my account. I will have to close my account so they can stop charging me, I searched online and it seems so many people are facing this issue. I have emailed them several times and they are sending back automated emails. A company like Apple should really consider which apps to allow in the Apple Store if they are taking money out of peoples pockets for services that don’t seem to exist or that people can’t even cancel. How can we report this and take action??

it’s so expensive now..

I recently downloaded this App and purchased the premium subscription, lured by the 7-day free trial. However, my experience quickly turned into a nightmare. On the same day the free trial ended, I was charged for the subscription. Immediately, I canceled the subscription to avoid further charges. To my dismay, just a few days later, I was charged again, this time for a significant amount of 77 AED. The lack of accessible customer service to address this issue is incredibly frustrating. I'm left uncertain about whether I will be charged repeatedly. This has been a truly terrible experience, and I strongly advise potential users to proceed with extreme caution.

I did not receive a refund from them

In October 2024, I subscribed to this app and now I’m regretting it because I wasted my money. I have tried to fix some of my pictures and the results are absolutely terrible. For the starters, the app does not even recognize if it is a male or a female in the picture and hence provides wrong hairstyles, clothes, headshots, etc. I would recommend not to use this app and save your time and money.

I was charged AED 89.30 by the app developer during the trial period itself. Although i cancelled my subscription before the end of trial period itself. Please think twice before installing this app as it can be a scam.

While the app is great, it has not allowed me to cancel the subscription which is not cool. I even couldn’t find it in the Subscription section in the App Store. Please do something about it…
