Faire is expensive, go directly to the nurseries in person or email them to work directly. 100% of the time it is more economical. Also, they expect you to have a full online business or won’t sell to you, even if you have the a resell license. How are they in business when they don’t want business? lol

I used to be so happy with Faire- but I just got hit with a HUGE surcharge on a small order from the UK. Faire alerted me that there might be a small additional customs fee. It turns out the UPS account that Faire provides to their suppliers charges astronomical brokerage fees. My $350 order came with a $250 surcharge.

Super high shipping prices :( good product selection though.

This tool is a game changer. Allows for small orders and longer than 30 day terms, which is a small retail shop’s dream. We are loving it as a buyer and will be joining it as a seller soon. We hope more vendors join the free shipping program. Great job with the app, the web site and the Shopify integration. Few rough spots, mostly all good.

I’ve contacted Faire multiple times asking them why their app always has problems and their response “ we recommend retailers only shop from the website” meanwhile all of us from our phones. it does nothing but crash and it doesn’t work and it’s super frustrating. Pile of garbage.

We have been so pleased with everything coming from Faire providers… it is so much easier when a speciality market gets to order direct, basically from the maker. No more frustration with food brokers, non fulfilling abilities for us!!
