FAR: Lone Sails

The game was relaxing with a hint of melancholy with sound track to match 10/10

This game is stunning and whimsical though required a little patience to workout some of the mechanics. I had already played Changing tides on a console and it proved using a controller is far superior to an iPad screen. Still a wonderfully crafted game and I can’t wait for the next one. I absolutely adored this game from start to finish. The visuals were lovely, the sound design was fantastic, and the level design was well thought-out. I first saw this game on Jacksepticeye’s channel, and I was so excited when I discovered the mobile version. I only found two faults in the game. First, the controls are not optimised for mobile. The buttons are too small and are spaced right at the edge of the phone screen, making it difficult to move sometimes. I suggest using a dynamic moveable ‘control stick’, like Descenders and INSIDE have done. Second, sometimes there were glowing orange lines across terrain and objects. This was distracting and took away from the experience, and it might be the result of closing the game and relaunching from a save point later. Despite these small faults, I thought the game was fantastic. The resource management system made it engaging to cover long distances, Okomotive really nailed that aspect. I highly recommend the game to anyone thinking of playing it.

The game is superb, Graffics and sounds amazing The only issue with the game is that it ends. It so addictive I’ve played it twice over and am going on a third as I can’t get enough of its brilliance

Controls = Cumbersome Gameplay (ship navigation) = Frustrating Ending = Flat Pros = Art style and music only I understand the artistry that the developers were trying to do with this game. But it was cumbersome and clumsy with a phone. Controls are atrocious and extremely non-responsive. The design layout of the ship is just annoying to move around and navigate in. In crucial intense moments it was just frustrating to move between the sails, engine room and control room. The upgrades to the ship didn’t even feel like it added a great deal to the gameplay (other than the sails). I plowed away in any case to see if there was any payoff - a sense of progress, or emotional payoff, or anything really. Nada! It fell flat. The ending was not worth it. Keep your money.

This is a near-perfect game. Great atmosphere and graphics, puzzles are engaging but not frustrating. Controls are a little challenging at times, and I wish it was a little longer, but these are very minor issues. Loved it.

It was the most calming game I ever played it was just amazing everything about it is beautiful

I loved every minute of this game/story/thing. It was heaven. The controls were annoying from time to time but it was well worth it. Music was heaven too. Seriously people if it’s not working on your phone then don’t give it one star because you haven’t played the game!!! It’s not fair to judge just because of your old phone.

I loved playing this. I finished it in one day (with a few breaks/interruptions). Beautiful atmosphere, clever but simple mechanics. Not immensely challenging, just enthralling. I'll be playing it again sometime.

I waited so long for this. Every time I press jump at the start it glitches out. Please help
