E-Mail wie es sein sollte
Die schlechten Bewertungen hätten mich fast getäuscht. Mittlerweile ist Fastmail sehr einfach und bietet doch alles was es braucht und noch viele Zückerchen obendrauf.

Love the app, except for the delay in getting calendar synced. No manual refresh available, I need to kill the app and restart it to see latest calendar updates. Weird and confusing…
Just shows a white screen. If you google it, I don’t seem to be the only one having this problem.
Staff quick to correct bugs. Thank you!
The app doesn’t function offline, which is simply not acceptable for an email app.
I’m a new user who switched to Fastmail from Posteo and Protonmail after also trying Tutanota. Likes: + Most settings are available in-app (not possible e.g. in Protonmail and Posteo doesn’t have its own app) + Quoted text easily recognizable thanks to smart formatting + Hiding remote images doesn’t hide sent inline images + Excellent search performance: faster and more powerful than other services I used. Dislikes: - App cannot be used offline (!) - Cannot accept calendar invites or process ics files, which is quite surprising as Fastmail is one of the few secure email providers with a built-in calendar - Cannot set plain text as default (both app and webmail) - Lack to customize / order menu items. I use dedicated services for notes and files, so I’d prefer to hide these options from the menu or add my own service (even if it was just through the iOS share extension) - Interface has a distinct Linux / Webmail feel and could be adapted better to iOS style guide Bottom Line: 3/5: All features work well and fast, but some essential missing capabilities and the unpolished look keep me from switching from another client. I keep the FM app though for useful FM account management and for setting filters.
This latest release is a huge improvement. FastMail is the best e-mail provider. No doubt about that.
The latest release provides a perfect mobile email client in my humble opinion. Thanks!
The app works very well for me. There are two things I really miss compared to other mail apps: * Archiving from notifications * Offline capabilities
Overall the app has some good attempts but still some work to do. iPad version: 1. Attaching from dropbox not working. 2. No support for iCloud drive. 3. When composing a new e-mail it's not possible to access the contacts on the iPad. 4. Not possible to create new groups within the address book like on the WebGui. 5. Swiping to left (delete) and swiping to right (archive) works on the Inbox folder but not on the Drafts folder. iPhone version: 1. No optin for attaching from dropbox. 2. No support for iCloud drive. 3. When composing a new e-mail not possible to access the contacts on the iPhone. 4. Not possible to create new groups within the address book like on the WebGui. 5. Swiping to left (delete) and swiping to right (archive) works on the Inbox folder but not on the Drafts folder. 6. No landscape mode, at least not for the iPhone 5s.
