Feeld: Open-Minded Dating App

I’ve been on this app on and off (more often on) for many years. It has yielded a few pretty good connections with like minded people. Pretty user friendly and convenient that you can link your partners’ accounts. My biggest gripe is that no matter what I do, the app keeps saying I have an unread message. It’s irritating but not a deal breaker.

Two things that need some work. … Like all dating apps, it still needs some work filtering out bots/scammers/solicitors/etc. … Also, a bug shows that have several notifications on the app icon despite not having any unopened messages or matches. … Other than that, not many complaints.

I paid for several months and made a few connections. Lots of frustration with this app. I have received several notifications that I have a new message and the app shows that I have a message by showing a red dot under the message icon. However, no message to be found. I’m also not a fan of the way it nickel and dimes you. If you don’t mind spending a bunch of coin then you will have lots of success. Customer support is nearly nonexistent. It just takes you in circles. Not a lot of crate apps out there and this one falls right in line.

Most broken app I’ve used. They double charged me for a feature called Pings 3x. I disputed the overage with Apple to correct the amount and they took away all the pings (I.e., I paid three times and ended up with nothing). They “fixed” this so that it looked like I had pings. But now I couldn’t use any of them. It’s been over six months since Customer Support said they’d fix this. But nope. Still broken. Still paid for nothing. I don’t see that changing.

App is janky and not well maintained. Bugs like the notification icon not clearing or photos not uploading with no clear error message are common. We are paying you money, make the basic features work properly please.

You have to pay for everything

Subscribed for a year, promo pricing was not applied to Apple app subscription. Was told to reach out when subscription was ending to have additional time added, no human support available at this point in time, only a chatbot in the app. Feel free to use the free app functionality to match and chat, but wouldn’t recommend paying unless you’re satisfied with no human support for billing exception handling of any sort.

Even when the app seems to work without bugs, don't expect to meet women if you're a man unless you are willing to throw at least $100 at the app. So many fake profiles you have to actually pay for a ping for every girl in your area, and subscribe so you don't send them to outdated profiles. I matched with so many profiles that were already paused, which is so shady. For a girl it's probably different but don't join this as a man seeking women unless you have money to spend. Even then, very unlikely to meet someone. Very few real people.

Recently this app has become riddled with bots.

A majority of the profiles are not real. Reporting the accounts, does not fix the issue. Blocking the accounts, does not fix the issue. Updating the app, does not fix the issue. Fake accounts and soliciting will return to your carousel every time you open the app, regardless of how many times you report or block them.
