FireBoard®

First off, kudos to the dev’s for this. Being a systems administrator I know it take work. Thank you for the work! I think being able to change your probe color would be awesome. Full RGB spectrum color change! I’m not color blind but people are. Having ALL your probes in the app different shades of brown isn’t great. If we could do the following: 1) Select and probe we want and change the color 2) For each specified color change, have a wheel or something of any full spectrum RGB color we desire I want my Fan to be Red, my Pit temp Green and my probes blue, Purple, Yellow, etc But the app itself kicks butt. Great job.

Great app. Needs Dynamic Island and live activity support for viewing temps

Sold app. Works perfect with zero issues for my Yoder 640s. My only complaint to the developers is why don’t we have a widget. Widgets are meant to get quick glance updates. Ain’t that why we have a app for are grills? Let’s get a widget & make this a 5 ⭐️app. Thank you.

Pretty useless not being able to save alerts into drive programs. That seems like a basic function. It is cumbersome to have to set alerts unique to every session. That’s literally what the drive programs should be doing.

Overall the FireBoard is great and the accompanying app is better than ok, but can be better. First off, I must say I prefer the original FireBoard over the FireBoard 2, I actually returned my 2 and will wait to buy it again if/when my original dies. That has no affect on my review of the app though. The iOS app has pretty much everything it needs, except it’s missing one thing that seems to be a major thing to me. It NEEDS iOS widgets and/or an Apple Watch complication! I mean I still have an iGrill from before Weber bought it, and it has an iOS widget, and it’s only Bluetooth and not WiFi. The whole point is to be handy, but to open and unlock phone or watch, then open app or bring app to the front just for a quick glance at a temp isn’t so stellar, widgets would make it better.

Coming from a BBQ Guru this is so much better! The hardware is stable and works very well for both Bluetooth and WiFi. The app is stable and has a lot of features. My only complaint is parts of the UI are a bit too busy and they should make data entry easier for some things. But it’s solid.

Missing all the basic controls for a Yoder 640. But hey, I can “share” things, as if anyone cares what I am doing. Hint to future developers: there are tons of people on this planet NOT on social media or texting pictures of their brisket to everyone. They just want things to work.

Needs a widget and what are chances of making this compatible with desktop computer like iMac?

I had this app on my old phone. Got a new phone and tried to open the app with my info and got log in error. Got new password, erased and reloaded, made a new account. Still nothing.

I have a wall mounted tablet in my kitchen and I bought a Fireboard thinking I could display it on the tablet. But it turns out the app doesn’t work in landscape mode :( This would be the perfect hardware+app combo as everything el see works great, but this basic feature is missing. Please add this and my review would change to 5 stars!
