Don’t waste your Money, just buy a Ring camera. I’m replacing all of these cameras. They do not alert or Record majority of the movement . Literally a Waste of your Hard earned money. And they know it’s trash .

This camera is more difficult to connect to WiFi than most. The picture quality is good but sync rate and menu function are not always responsive. I thought I was being hacked the rate at which I lose function of camera. But I have cheaper cams that Perform and sync simple and fluid.

What happened to the ability to view the SD card without y’all trying to milk me for a monthly charge?

I’ve had the camera for years and like it but the app is the only way access it and the app has progressively gotten worse over the years. It connects to the cam only about 30% of the time and when it does, it takes about a minute or two to connect on a GbE wifi network (no VPN). Im ready to throw away the camera and buy anything other than this brand. I’ll be sure to check ratings for their app before I buy any camera.

I've had problems with this app connecting to my PTZ camera from the very beginning. The latest upgrade to the app has made it so bad that I can't connect at all to the camera no matter what I do whether it is rebooting or resetting. The only way I can reboot the camera right now is to disconnect the power and start over. Nothing seems to work and customer support has been totally useless. Red flags went up after I reported the problem and they told me they needed my username and password. Not happening. I would not recommend Foscam to anyone. I'm going to try and find another program that will connect to the camera. In addition, I have cloud service through Foscam, which I will not renew.

This is the worst VM app I have ever had the misfortune to be forced to use , it is so bad I am thinking about replacing all 14 cameras!

Connectivity to the cameras often is slow and often fails even though the camera is online. Even when that’s not an issue the app is not able to access the SD card most of the time. It’s either the files do not appear on the app or the camera needs to reconnect again, or when you do see the files and want to view, they will buffer until it fails or if you want to download it mostly partially downloads then fails. When it partially works it could take half and hour to download a file after repeatedly opening and closing the app. More recently, the file do not load at all even when reopening and closing the app multiple times. It’s been a very frustrating experience. Besides this, the cameras I have are made of some kind of silicone that melts away over time. Time to look out for other brands.

I have a Foscam NVR with 4 cams. The original FOSCam NVR app worked well. This new app does not allow me to view the camera feeds when I am away from my house. This makes having the cameras worthless.

Please fix to give us liveview back. It doesnt not work on any of our devices. Only playback from cloud works.
