Freenow by Lyft – taxi & more

Much cheaper to just get taxis. Meter in a taxi will say x, freenow will charge you x + 10 at least

Top service. Pre booked a ride from Krakow center to the airport on a difficult day (tour de pologne). Impeccable service, great drive, kind drive. Thank you! Plus, unlike other services in Krakow, FREENOW picks you up in front of your door and not at a meeting point, which was essential as we had luggages and a person with reduced mobility!!

They make it each time less userfriendly. The cancelation policy on the taxi side is nonsense. Bad service.

Was open to try out a different Ride app, so when I saw the promotion for Free Now I installed the app. First time around (Manchester) the app never provided a car! Second time around (Frankfurt) car came to the wrong place, I couldn’t contact the driver, as it turned out (later) the driver couldn’t contact me and worst of all, mistakes in billing. So that’s it, I’ll delete my account, remove the app and go back to what works.

I booked a taxi days in advance for the start of my holidays, only 10 minutes after the scheduled arrival, the application warns me that there are no taxi drivers available. Making me miss the train I was supposed to catch next. I do not recommend the app at all!!!

Asked 2 times. First time for a ride, driver was taking rounds around the city so I decided to cancel. Second time asked for a taxi, may be it could be more reliable. Taxi passed straight and never came back, I almost missed appointment, asked Uber and came in 2 minutes… so not more

They have a giant promo code on every scooter to attract users, but you have to give your credit card data first in order to redeem the code, which didn’t work on my phone. The one star is for the concept.

This is the second time it happens. Never a response from Freenow support, help function in the app does not work for a Capcha glitch. Drivers overcharged (now 15%). Other issues: pre booking has never worked, drivers cancelling all the time. This app produces friction

Works perfectly well as well in Germany as in and around Lisbon/Portugal

Beim ersten Versuch konnte der Fahrer uns leider nicht finden- daher Fahrt Storniert und an der Straße einfach Taxi angehalten. Zweiter Versuch 3 Tage später am Vortag Fahrt einen Tag im Voraus gebucht, erster zugesagter Fahrer hat kurzfristig storniert zweiter Fahrer war 10 nach zugesagtem Abholzeitpunkt nicht da und hat auch nicht auf anfrage reagiert. Also wieder Taxi am Straßenrand gerufen. Ergebnis für mich App gelöscht.
