Friendship Lamps

It doesn't take much for my lamp to bug out and lose connection. I've tried many troubleshooting techniques and the thing blinks forever. I don't know why because it works perfectly fine at times. It's had way too many connection issues.

The price of this app is just plain bonkers. $25 a year, when I've already paid $100 each for the lamps? That doubles the price of my lamp within four years — for an added function that is literally a single button. In a marketplace where I can buy Procreate for eternity for $12, or unlimited yoga classes for $15 a year, the cost of this very simple add-on makes no sense. That said, I love the lamp itself and the app does indeed perform as promised, making it possible to stay connected when I travel. However, because I do travel regularly I'm seriously considering switching to an entirely different brand of friendship lamp that includes a free remote touch app. It doesn't make sense economically to keep feeding money to this subscription when I could get a virtually identical setup with a single flat rate purchase.

So difficult to connect to Wi-Fi . My lamp is right next to router everything is set up proper I’ve checked and rechecked. I do know my tech stuff. This is my third set up to a new Wi-Fi and each time has been the same. I kid you not I spend hours trying to get this lamp to link up. I keep getting the same responses (Try Again) If this wasn’t a gift from my children it would have been trashed long ago. I’ll keep trying. I’m venting my frustration. I know I’m not the only one having this issue.

The remote app would not work. It took CS three days to respond. I want a refund on this subscription. It did not work and I won’t use it again. The worst app. Ever. Constantly freezing and the poor quality lamp continues to flash blue. Terrible app for a terrible product. Very disappointing.

No where on this app for me to cancel subscription. I don’t need this app and be charged for it.

Instructions are pretty simple and straight forward but it just won’t find the frame with the app. Attempting to use the advanced setup with my MacBook and it still won’t find it. I’m not a computer programmer but we’ll above average as far as knowledge is concerned. What if I bought one of these for my parents? They wouldn’t stand a chance.

My lamp has done wonders for a fractured relationship. Something as “simple” as a light coming on, saying I love you & I'm thinking of you, has done wonders. I know it sounds dramatic, but it’s true. When words get in the way a simple act can break through. I’m SO thankful that I took the chance and got them for us.

Great way to stay connected to family and friends. Love the app. Setup is also east.

Need to wait to give a review because only one of my lamps lights up and connects. i’m assuming that both lamps should light up when connecting to an outlet? Can someone please help me out? Thanks.

I already payed for the lamp. Why am I paying a subscription for remote notification feature? No thank you. Feels slimy and money grabby. Such a shame because I love the lamp itself. It kept me connected to family during COVID. I kept the lamp and deleted the app.
