Frontend Masters

This is not about the courses but the app experience on iPad. Tapping the pause button doesn’t work.

The content on Frontend Masters is top quality. This app is well designed and enhances my experience as I can easily access the content from anywhere now.

There is no indication of the downloading progress. The solid cloud icon on the video player gives the impression that downloading all videos of the course is completed, but it is not.

Very easy to use

Exchanges the confusing inconstant advice found in most tutorials for a structured, reasoned approach that builds from the basics to advanced concepts at a good pace. Can’t say enough good things!

The content itself is the highest quality web-related content I’ve ever seen! All of the courses are taught by industry professionals, their teaching styles vary but nonetheless the quality of each lecturer is simply unmatched! There are separate pathways for different levels and areas of development as well as pathways for specific languages or frameworks. Many courses also focus on backend web development, tool mastery, system programming, algorithms and data structures. There’s even a pathway for general computer science! The service is amazing, but what about the app itself? Easy to use UI, offline course support, live workshops, and more! The app is honestly too good to be true. I’ve only had a good experience so far! Totally worth it, 10/10.

Usability offline is dope

Will Sentance should run for President (or Prime Minister), he has my vote for life!

Some apps are pretty buggy in offline mode. But this one works perfectly and instantly. I download my courses while on Wifi and watch on my hour subway ride to work. It’s the most consistent I’ve been learning a new subject matter every day. Ty Frontend Masters for not only picking passionate instructors and relevant topics but also for making your material so mobile!

So happy to learn that FM has an app. Love being able to carry these solid courses around in my pocket.
