Frozen City

This is easy to progress on for a while, if you’re reasonably patient. City 3 gets slower because two of the heroes you need to expand workers never appear in any free packages, then city 4 grinds to a halt and your people are starving unless you spend money. I never spend money on these games (can buy huge games like Skyrim for a tenner so why bother?) but don’t mind watching a moderate amount of ads to progress, which is not an option here

It is so fun and even though there are ads it doesn’t ruin the fun for me because you need to use your wood smartly and if you are close to running out and you workers are sleeping then your characters might not survive

I really like this game. The game play is really good. However, I find the need to constantly buy in app purchases to upgrade heroes a problem. Without an upgraded hero, you will suffer with either the lack of speed of production, or no production at all. It’s seems that as you progress to new cities, you are supposed to upgrade your heroes. You can’t unless you are willing to spend. The daily rewards do include hero cards, but I have found that you never really get the hero cards that matter. For example, I always get a medic hero card, when I really need a miner, or a food producer. So sadly, I’ve deleted the game because I can’t keep spending money on upgrading heroes, which really impacts the game play.

A good game ruined by the developers adding Hero’s, this hugely limits progress without spending money, surprise, surprise. In my current city, I’ve been waiting 6 weeks for the relevant hero to be available. I’m not paying for it and I’m not paying the £8.99 per week to remove ads. Hopefully the industry watch dog will catch up with this practice. I’m happy to pay within reason for a game and watch ads sometime too but these guys go above and way beyond. Game repeats itself on each level, build a settlement whilst battling the freeze. Actually a good game.

Loving the game. Takes me back to frostpunk. It’s awesome that it’s a game that requires time but it’s getting too much I’m getting annoyed and bored. I can’t do anything because I am missing heroes and can’t find them no matter what I spend. It’s not fair anymore. It needs to change or I will eventually stop playing. Other than that it’s a great idle game. It’s a frostpunk in my pocket kinda of game.

I started off enjoying this but then to reach another level or up date your ‘heroes’ you need to pay out a lot!!! It also takes a long time to achieve the next city literally 2 or more days of waiting to get to the next build level. Sadly really not worth it.

I spun wheel 100+ times, and never once landed on the 1 card that would have enable me to get more villagers… so I could not expand, so I’m out of this STUPID game… (several times I did play, and got a few cards for villagers, but couldn’t really do much when the villagers card is so rare… developers obviously don’t want people to play, so I’ll do what they want… and STOP)

You have to pay as you done have the hero for food on level 78. So basically it’s pointless. Got to the end of level 78 and cannot complete as the survivors keep dying.

Without hero you only able to send one work in the factory whatever how many level you have upgrade and it’s completely ruin the game
