Garmin Dive

Not being able to even open the app offline is a no-go for a diving app. I was on an 8 days live aboard in the Maldives and I couldn't open the app at all to see my data. Otherwise, the app is great but until they fix this offline issue, it's a one star for me. Especially because I saw on the Garmin forum that it's been reported over 4 years ago and they don't care.

Used now on some 12 dives. Very happy with the amount of info. The one thing missing is the automated exchange in between PADI & SSI dive app…if not possible direct than with QR code generation. Would recommend anytime.

Alle Informationen die man erfassen kann sind dabei und noch mehr. Fehlt nur noch das 24h System bei der Zeit, zum Glück muss man keine Tiefe mit Körperteilen errechnen.

Getting better, UI is fine but a bit cumbersome. Too many clicks to get to some things, too many menus that open submenus. Also importing dives in bulk from other dive log apps would be plus. Whither thing I'm missing from my other dive log is the automatic calculation of the SAC rate based on the tank size and gas in and out values input.

Doesn‘t synchronise all ma dives. Som older ones worked well, newer ones don‘t synch... Useless in this state...

App not usable, although my Descent syncs with Garmin Connect perfectly, which displays the new dives, Garmin Dive though will not show anythung and give always an error message. After a week, the app works fine. ⅘ because of some unpleasant usability.

Hätte gerne mehr Sterne gegeben. Eine Tauch App die ohne Internet nicht funktioniert kann ich nicht brauchen.

While the mk3i is a great dive computer this garmin dive app is trash. An absolute embarrassment. If you do not plan to improve the dive log with basic features then at lease allow us to use a better dive app. Mac dive and subsurface are both much better dive logs but garmin will not allow other apps to connect the the dive computer directly. So you need to use the garbage gamin app to get the data off then type it into a real dive log. Lame. Fix the app and stop blocking data export with all the errors.
