Gener8 turns your online data into real-world rewards: from gift cards and gadgets to exclusive offers and charity donations! It’s like frequent flyer miles for the internet.
Currently, Gener8 rewards are focused on users in the United Kingdom. In other countries, you can still use the app to check what data Google stores on you, exchange your data for Gener8 points, and spend them on charity donations.
It’s time YOU get rewarded for YOUR data.
Gener8 is backed by 3 Dragons from the BBC’s Dragons’ Den. More than 750,000 people already use Gener8 on desktop & mobile!
Everyone’s making money from your data. Except you. Gener8 changes this.
HOW IT WORKS:
- Connect apps to Gener8
- See the data they hold on you in a cool & fun way
- Anonymise your data and earn points from it
- Spend your points on: gift cards, gadgets, exclusive offers, charity donations & more. New rewards every week!
WHY WE DO IT:
At Gener8 we believe that you should be able to control your own data.
Right now your data is being hoovered up by companies that you’ve never even heard of. It feels like everyone is making money from your data. Except you.
Gener8 changes that. We put you back in control.
Gener8 shows you what information other apps hold on you. We visualise this in a beautiful and easy to understand manner and then we empower you to exchange your anonymised data from these companies for Gener8 rewards - should you choose to.
No data leaves your device or passes through any of our systems without your explicit consent. All insights are generated on your device and data is only shared with us if you choose to. All data is anonymised, so your personal information is never shared with anyone.
Watch the space. We’re constantly improving the app!

Amazing Concept
I, like a fair chunk of gener8 users stumbled across the service through one of Sam’s viral moments. I was stunned at first to realise such a concept could exist and I kept looking for a reason for it to be too good to be true.
The app itself and the browser (for PC) are both completely flawless with features that will benefit both you as a consumer and your general browsing experience.
The single issue I have with Gener8 is the rewards. A lot of them are not exactly what I was expecting and the ones that do pose any sort of interest to me such as gift cards and things like that are never available for me. This is however as mentioned the only problem with the product I have. Every other thing is completely perfect, so much that it’s still worth the whole 5 starts from me :)

Throws you out before you can redeem offers! Big con
SEEMS PROMISING!
Just downloaded the app after seeing the Dragon’s Den pitch. Looks really promising! I will for sure use this and see how it performs over the next couple weeks.
One complaint I have is the inability to choose whether gambling related rewards are shown to myself. I would much prefer to switch them off completely and to not see them at all, but there is no option to do so.
Please consider that there are many people who are recovering addicts. I do not think it is ethical business practice to advertise gambling, without a choice, to those who don’t want to be exposed to it. Thank you for considering my feedback.
Rewards have nose dived…
I’ve had gener8 for over a year now where the auction rewards used to be worth hundreds of £ like brand new games consoles. You were motivated to earn and save lots of points for this reason but now auctions are £10 gift cards? They already have a gift cards sections. The rest of the rewards are generic deals you can find yourself. Yes you can earn from your data but the rewards aren’t what they used to be
Scam
The ‘rewards’ aren’t rewards, they’re offers from various companies advertising their wares. Absolutely no reason to use this app, it’s a scam to get your data and push offers from companies disguised as ‘rewards’.

Great results with my Gener8 app! All for free! Brilliant!
Wow
Best app
Selling your online identity for a Tesco meal deal
That’s all you’ll be getting from this app, after months of saving points, giving away your data, you’ll be lucky to even get the opportunity to redeem for a Tesco meal deal, or a £2 voucher
Don’t waste your time, and don’t sell yourself
Completely useless
This app had me really excited, and I used it for over a year. The idea is great, but the execution? Not so much.
The rewards on offer are shocking, basically all of it is free trials where you have to pay for delivery, and would be available off the app. You can’t actually purchase anything substantial with the points you earn, you are essentially just giving away your points for free.
Whoever is in charge of partnerships at Gener8 is doing a TERRIBLE job, because they don’t deliver anything actually useful.
Utterly pointless
Deliveroo (and others) gift cards going for 1500 plus points. I’ve managed 300 points in about half a year so in a couple of years I might earn enough for a Deliveroo voucher!
