Gibson: Learn & Play Guitar

I’ve been playing guitar for 25 years and was very impressed with this app. I’ve tried Youcisian but found this far superior. Here’s why: - song selection and variety - short, clear tutorial videos - instructors are world class - proper technique emphasized - progressive lessons that gradually increase speed - this is key! - simple tab/scrolling very easy to follow with no unnecessary visual noise - unlike youcisian guitar pieces are actually true to original recordings on where you’re playing on the fretboard - subtle but important - worked flawlessly (playing an acoustic using the app on an iPad wearing AirPods If you’re starting out I would highly recommend this. I learned from cds and magazines sent in the mail. Wish I had this as a teen : ) Excellently done, Gibson. I’ll enjoy dabbling with this to improve and learn some specific songs. Keep adding more content!

UPDATE: CREDIT was applied very quickly to my account. I had not had a 7 day trial prior so I am not sure what happened but regardless, it was taken care of swiftly and fairly! Thank you very much. On another note, I absolutely love the app. I’ve used many apps along the way but this one is easy, structured in a way that works well for me, and motivates me to play. My Gibson arrives any day! I can’t wait to use it with this app! OLD review: I was supposed to have a seven day trial. That’s what I selected. Immediately my credit card was charged. I don’t know if I want to keep the app after seven days and I certainly don’t know if I want to pay monthly or buy a year membership, but I was immediately charged, please refund and allow me seven days to evaluate so I know if I want it and I want the monthly annual subscription. There is where it says we can connect with Customer Service but I can’t connect with anyone so unfortunately, unfortunately I have to write this as a crappy review. please refund me rating on my review. Appreciate your immediate attention.

I like it, great instructors but just too expensive for me.

Edit: I had an issue with the app where songs were disappearing and the support team was very responsive and helped resolving the issue, the app had unfortunately changed my region on both devices it was installed. Ready to rock again, added one more star Would be 5 stars if less expensive and in few more optimizations e.g. in lessons, sometimes UX could be improved so you don’t click skip so many times or watch an intro leading to not much. Chapters and in the video lessons would be also helpful even though it’s already helpfully broken down

I’ve been a fan of Rock music for a long time and finally decided to start learning electric guitar. I have watched many resources online, they are helpful, but I’ve never really start to have steady progress daily until I downloaded THIS APP! It’s just SO SO GOOD, in every aspect. PS. I design apps for living, and by the design and user experience standards, this app is ALSO TOP NOTCH!!!!

Please add more songs. Does the system crash if you add too many songs? You have the most expensive amps and guitars on the planet. I am a premium customer. The app is amazing the song selection is week. It looks like day one. Fender play has thousands of songs. What seams to be the problem? Please tell me this is going to change soon.

Lessons are good but app keeps trying to load and doesn’t open anymore.
