Gibson: Learn & Play Guitar

I love this app… far better than any other guitar App. Amazing content. Need more video songs but. Truly lives upto the name Gibson. The quality is great. I learnt a lot from this App. Thank you.

This app is fine for playing notes, but when you try the chords it cannot detect them correctly. I’m an intermediate guitar player and know my Aminor and Eminor chords very well, but the app says I’m playing the wrong chord once and then the strum is fine. The best chord accuracy I got from the app was 70%, which is unacceptable! I tried multiple Devices, same result😞 Please fix this issue ASAP.

The app is amazing but there need more metal songs like ac-dc or Metallica or megadeath I learned lot from this app it was amazing I swear to any beginners I highly recommended this app

Decided to try the app out and did free trial. Canceled the same day due to not liking the app. Was charged for full year and Apple will not refund or explain why. I’ve reached out to Gibson multiple times with no repose. Definitely ripped off!

This I love it so much!,I got a guitar for Christmas and I really didnt know how to play it.I downloaded Gibson as a learning thing too play my electric guitar but the thing is whenever I try too go on too another lesson it tells me I have too pay for a membership or something like that,I would love too pay but I’m just very broke right now so I can’t pay yearly nor monthly.

As long as your playing everyday the lessons help you so much I’ve improved a lot after only a couple of days

seriously gotta be the best app for learning guitar, free tier is good for people who aren’t ready to get the subscription, and lets you play lessons a few times a day instead of locking it all behind a paywall unlike other apps, this app deserves my money

I first got this app. It was amazing. I got to tune my guitar and told me which way to turn the knob and it got me started. I’m about intermediate. I can play a lot of songs and this was helping me do better with changing tabs faster, but…….. after I did the first beginner lesson, I was like OK now I am gonna go to stuff tomorrow my level but then I couldn’t open anything. Couldn’t go to any songs can do anything unless I subscribe to it and pay $130 a year and that’s a little much I still think it’s a great guitar app but don’t think it’s a little much for $130. You know

great about but its mostly focused only on electric guitars

I tried Simply Guitar first and it was not helpful to me. I love that Gibson starts with fingers and positioning and then strumming. Before trying to make chord shapes. It’s a little pricey but I think well worth every penny. And I love learning to play along with some of my favorite songs.
