This app is awesome and even though there are so many out there and lots of lessons on you tube that are free. The way the lessons are structured in this app from basic finger picking and cords, learning your favourite songs in basic and advanced versions makes progression so so easy. I’m a beginners and I highly recommend this app. It’s not free but so worth the spend. I’ve had it now for 3 years and will keep using it. It’s very professionally done and well put together.
This app has made a big difference to my foundational knowledge and skills, the structure is great and there is plenty of positive reinforcement that supports daily practise. I’m a bit annoyed the not a single full song is available even if you pay for premium. It would be nice to at least have access to some of the songs at least especially after paying over $160 bucks
Feels like playing Guitar Hero, but with a real guitar that picks up everything you play—every string, every fret. I already play guitar, but the app gives me some great tips. I can spend hours practicing now, which never happened before. So happy I found it!

I tried several apps before settling on Gibson. It’s much better than the other apps in terms of lesson structure, technique content and song selection. Yes, some of lessons are harder but with the slow down speed control and practice you’ll be surprised what you can achieve. My timing and technique are much improved because of the live lesson feedback when playing. They also regularly add new lessons and songs. So haven’t run out of choice in a year.
This has been much harder than Youisican plus the numbers and colours are almost impossible to read even on an iPad and as others mentioned very limited song selection
It’s learning guitar in a game setting but also lessons aswell I love it
It’s a great app and it’s such a great easy way to learn, tho ever since that update it been saying I got thing wrong when I get them right or right when I get them wrong sometimes, my phone is old so it could be that but I’m not sure
I’ve been teaching myself to play guitar for the last year using various apps etc. This app has helped progress u h quicker than any of the others I have tried. Love the way it focuses on muscle memory and remembering sections of songs, building up to the whole song. I initially had an issue with he colours of the finger positions, but with help from the support team I was able to fix this. Highly recommend this app.
