They want your kids’ medical records, access to all your text messages, photos, etc. Waaaay too intrusive just to text my daughter.

I was under the impression I would be able to see my children’s text messages between every approved contact, including Gizmo buddies, but that is not the case. I can only see the texts between my kid(s) and myself. Would also like to extend group message capabilities to “caregivers”. Otherwise it’s a great product.

My bestie only has a gizmo watch so I downloaded the app and added her and now we text all the time but it was a lot of work to add her so yeah 🙂also make video chats longer than 3 minutes

The app functions okay. Sometimes things lag. The map function is slow and sometimes not accurate. Updating contacts is a pain and I can never tell if the information is up to date. For example, I went in to add a person to the contact list. It said there were seven contacts. Then it didn’t work. I had to restart the app. And it said there were 12 contacts. I added the person and then it said there were eight. I don’t know what to trust. We also couldn’t get the app installed and working on our son’s phone to be able to text with our daughter because it wouldn’t send the verification email. Overall, it is one of the only options and has worked fine for what we need it for. But I am looking forward to not having to deal with it in the future.

I am able to check my granddaughters location at all times and she is able to msg me when she needs. I absolutely adore having this tool.

obviously, if your child is trying to contact you, you want to know immediately. There is no way to find out that your child has tried to contact you without opening the GizmoHub app. So basically, if you want to remain in contact with your child, you need to have the Gizmo app open and stare at it all day. Even when the app used to send notifications, there is no way to change the tone of the notification, so it could be distinguished from the tone all of your other apps have (using latest I Phone). so the same light ping sound you may have for an Instagram notification is the same, so nothing to audibly alert you that you are trying to be contacted for a more important matter. I have tried to work with customer service on this issue, but as you can see from all the forms, they have been unable to solve this problem for myself or anyone else

If you’re trying to use this with a Gizmo watch to keep track of your kids, I suggest using something else. The app is incredibly slow, not precise, and for days on end will simply not find the watch at all. It’s worse than nothing because you never know if it will work. Look elsewhere! I regret not returning while we still Old.
