Glo | Yoga and Meditation App

There must be a bug, I clicked on start the free trial, chose my preferred plan, can see the active subscription in Apple's settings but I still can't run the app, as it keeps asking me to start my free trial... Maybe it works better on a laptop, on IPad it's a disaster..

Unreachable custommer service.

I’ve been using Glo for over a decade and it has been a constant source of calm for me over the years. I recently had my first baby and have been so grateful to have both the pre and post natal yoga and Pilates classes. Can’t recommend it enough!

I purchased the 3 month subscription but it wasn’t being reflected in my account. This issue is the first one listed on their FAQ, which to me indicates this is a widely known issue. However, I still couldn’t get support. After receiving my initial response, which was intended for a different customer because it did not address my issue in the slightest, I continuously received canned responses that did not help me access the subscription I had paid for. The issue has still not been resolved, a week later, so I filed a dispute with my bank to get a refund. The lack of assistance and care cemented my decision to never go back to this company again. Update after company response to review: I did receive an email from the customer support lead two days after leaving this review, and 8 days after emailing in about the issue. It seemed genuine and thoughtful, and provided a resolution that I had initially suggested after a couple days of not receiving any real help from the initial customer support representative (who told me they didn’t offer that type of solution - giving me a promo code for the three months I paid for so I could cancel the subscription through Apple and resubscribe successfully through the YogaGlo website. They keep the subscription money, I get to access what I paid for, everyone wins). Unfortunately, it was too little too late.

I’ve been using Glo most mornings to begin my day for years now and am so grateful to have it. Thank you!

I signed up and have enjoyed the classes I’ve taken. Unfortunately, the app frequently refuses to display content for me, and I get the spinning circle on every page. Even when I do get to the content, it will stall trying to load whatever I clicked on. This is definitely not a “me” issue- I’ve tried every suggestion on their help page and my network/phone is fine. I kind of want my money back if I can’t rely on it to be available.

I have been a Glo user since 2016 and it has had a huge impact on my life being able to practice at home with instruction from incredible teachers. Unfortunately in the past few years the app has become more and more laden with features and distractions I don’t care about, and has become dramatically more expensive. As much as I like Glo, if this trend continues I will stop using it. I really wish they would introduce a discounted “legacy membership” with a more barebones interface. I would even be happy just having access to videos before a certain date with no new updates. There is already way more content on the site than I could ever know what to do with.

i practiced yoga in a little studio in santa monica, california, about a million years ago. yoga glo is the only app that carries the spirit and some of the actual teachers and teachings from that amazing time. truly there are so many classes on glo and such a range of styles, anyone can find their own best place to begin and then continue. i can't say enough good things about yoga glo. i now live far from any decent yoga studio or spiritual community. these classes are my bread and butter when i've lost my way in practice and need help. here it is: pranayama. meditation. kundalini. yin. nidra. flow. iyengar. pilates. qi kung! fusion. joyous practice. thank you-- yay!

I have been on Glo for at least 15 years. The yoga teachers are amazing. It really suits any need you have. It is curated in a usable and respectful way. It plays an essential role in my life and I truly appreciate the work put into it.

Don’t sign up for this subscription unless you are absolutely certain you want to keep it. Otherwise, make sure you cancel your membership and have a receipt of doing so. This business cares zero percent about refunding you. I thought I had canceled but turns out I hadn’t. I reached out the day after the renewal and they offered no solutions. Just tough luck. Seems weird for a yoga business, but lesson learned.
