I’m most likely not the target audience, but I got to the app as they had best eSIM data plans for the countries I’m currently visiting. However, unlike other eSIM apps, GlobalYO is some sort of lifestyle app with a lot of shiny buttons I never press. I’d personally prefer less of the clutter, but if that’s the price to pay for cheap data when travelling, then count me in.
What a scam. Bought two esims for Tajikistan and Uzbekistan. Both didn’t connect to any local network while there. Also when manually selecting the network. Reached out to support via chat but I never received any reponse. One star.
The sim card is cheap, But without telcel it is no use in México. I end up having 9,5GB left after a month and in the end I bought one at Airalo.
What a scam
Much cheaper e-sims than the competitors. Works well in Morrocco. One thing to keep in mind is that the time period tarts on the moment of activation in the app and not as other apps at the moment of connecting with the network in the country of choice.
Spend 10$ on esim and did not work, ask support for help on builtin chat and conversation did not open with message “Failed to open the chat”
My time in China would have been a total nightmare without your eSIM. I have been able to stay connected with friends and family. The service is superb. Highly recommended.
I bought a 1GB that vanished. Global Yo refuse to refund it.
I clicked on an ad saying ‘Activate E Sim on iPhone7’ (exact copy) downloaded the app, paid for the sim, then was presented with a message saying that E Sims aren’t available on iPhone7. I immediately asked for a refund and even sent a screenshot of the ad I’d clicked but 10 days later and two attempts at contacting the help I haven’t had a response.
First of all, I’ll start this by saying I’m used to using eSIMS. The app is visually ridiculously. I’m not sure what kind of person it’s aimed at, is it a social media app? Is it an eSIM app? What is all this complete nonsense on the screen?! Secondly I spent about $45 on an eSIM installed it and activated it within the app yet with full signal reception and on the correct network it would not work, I opened a support ticket by the time I got chance to read a response was closed. I won’t bother with these again.
