Games good and developers even better. Keep up the good work!
If I could give 0 stars I would,… was fun in the beginning, but 3 weeks in and level 130 the game fizzles and all the sweet rewards you get in the beginning all but disappear,…. Coupled with server issues causing the game to crash at just the worst times had me hitting the delete app button on this one. Thank god I did not ever perform an in app purchase! Then I’d really be sad!
I have played many gachas and I know the main reason we downloaded this one, but the game and story are seriously amazing and that made me stay playing :)
At first I was only in for the gacha but the big évent with minigames are f%}!ing great 7/10 you should give it a try every anniversary.
After playing for a five months I think the game is very nice including: - Fun Gameplay (Guns sounds nice and the recoil-less point and click style is fun.) - Gacha has decent odds (4% is decent for the rarest units compared to most other Gacha games I’ve seen.) - neat characters (The characters each have their own little personality you can interact with.) - Nice art (The characters look beautiful with many themes, enemies have a nice futuristic war machine style and environments look neat.) - game gives free stuff (free draws in surplus and if you play during an anniversary event free SSR (highest rarity) character and free like 20 draws 100% free.) - Promo codes (more free stuff you can get if you just go on this website NIKKE.GG for the codes.) But playing this on mobile (mainly IPhones from what I heard) is pain with it being VERY unstable and prone to crashing.) Conclusion: I would recommend the game but you might need a good phone or a decent computer to play it comfortably.
Been playing daily for about 6 months now and Nikke is one of the only gatchas that have had me hooked for this long. However it crashes on my phone quite often, especially during fights. I have an IPhone 14 so I would think it would be enough to handle the game, but apparently not. Would love for the game to be better optimized.
Like right as you unlock the outpost a girl comes in and tasers you and stomps on your face, I don’t want to be disrespected so bad. Can you please add a option to not get stomped on?
I find myself quite passionate about Nikke. I love the gameplay, a lot of the characters, that sort of thing… the game’s been a big source of comfort to me during my transition. The thing that’s effectively driven a wedge between myself and the game is the Commander character. Obviously, the Commander is going to be a major character, given that they are in a sense the avatar character for the player. However, unlike other gacha titles such as Arknights or Girls Frontline which are either completely neutral or allows a selection, Goddess of Victory: Nikke makes it explicitly clear that the Commander is male. When I first got the game (Nero was the newest character around that time) the Commander’s gender was something that was easy to ignore. There weren’t a lot of CGs involving the Commander, most of the Nikkes didn’t refer to them with a specific gender, but over time the Commander has become more and more of a presence in the overall game. Having references made to him in Nikke skill cutscenes, appearing in CGs during events, and dolls in the likeness of the Commander being made into a necessary part of Nikke growth. His increasing focus as a canonically male “harem anime”-type character and not an avatar for the player has caused me to become distant with Nikke. I really hope at some point in the future that a method of customizing the Commander could come into play, not unlike the way Girls Frontline 2 goes about it; being able to select a masculine or feminine appearance, plus how characters refer to you would be the #1 remedy in my opinion to fix the Commander. It would allow the game to feel more immersive to non-male players who want to involve themselves with the story and characters of the game.
The art is indeed amazing. But also the story is great, the characters don’t feel one-dimensional, and the anime parts are incredible for this game. Also the fun factor is a lot better than many other games. But yes, the art may be a factor why many would play it. They could have inserted some nudity and made the game a higher PG anyway, since they got so close to it. But the game is still great.
