It’s like being forced non consensually
Forces you to buy packs and watch very long ads, the worst game. Blatantly only cares about making money, not about being a game that people enjoy. You can’t press any buttons and have zero control and are forced to watch ads and buy packs, and if you don’t want to buy, there is no way to close out of the screen unless you close the app. When you open it makes you download half the game again
Ads are ridiculous
Game play is fun against others but the ads you have to watch to obtain better gear are sometimes over 1 minute long (Royal Match/Kingdom). If you want to play competitively you will waste so much time on these ads
Pay to win
Pushes players to buy golf balls that go further, past level 5 if you don’t purchases specialty golf balls you will lose all matches
Fun, Addictive, Challenging
Fun game, Lots of challenging courses Addictive game play. Love Zynga : FarmVille, Words With Friends and now Golf Rival.
Terrible functionality
I initially liked this app however after multiple losing streaks that never seemed to end I decided to make an in-app purchase, they took my money but never gave me what I purchased. After complaining to Apple they said to contact the company. Multiple attempts later I still have not heard anything. I left negative feedback on Facebook, Google… everywhere I could this past week and they still have not contacted me. If you want to waste your time on a poor quality app that will take your money for nothing then this is the app for you.
Always Blames Users System
I had 5 Perfect Shots in a tournament to get an Albatross and I missed by a lot - no reason for it!!
Money - Money - Money
I understand the point of every App is to make money, but to be competitive in this game, spending it is a requirement. Too many special balls and clubs are required, so if you don’t have an issue with paying to win, you’ll enjoy the game. It’s a fun game when you go up against someone using the same equipment. However, it’s rare which is where the feel/need to spend money to be competitive comes into play. Oh, and if you do have special golf balls they use is per hit, not per round, so when you do receive a free special ball it’s a single hit. The need to spend money to be competitive takes away from the joy of this game.
Always pvp against higher players
This is my last time playing this game. It always puts you against much higher players and tries to gait you into spending money to get better equipment to try to beat the higher rated player. The last 15-25 games the player I was paired up with was someone that had much higher games played to the tune of my 1600 games to their 2500-9500 games giving them a significant advantage. There is no way to get an equivalent match with these mismatches. It is completely frustrating.
Greedy
Almost every match for me is an overmatch now. I’m talking usually 3 clubs bigger than mine. I just forfeit and move along. But it’s a big waste of time. They have no idea how to make fair match ups. Or they don’t want to. Too much greed. This weeks tourney, many holes, you need 3 kangaroos just to reach the green. And I have good clubs. What are they thinking? The holes must be 1000 yards.
