Google TV: Watch movies & TV

It can’t play like half of my purchased library. It just says content is not available on this device. This is content I PAID for.

Download shows and movies - Doesn’t download properly, very slow download speed. If downloaded, the app requested to connect to the internet in order to watch the content… I’m sorry but what’s the point of that? The movie and TV show Library - Only shows the content titles in alphabetical order. Can’t view by purchase date so if I got something recently, I need to scroll for a very long time to find it in my library. I miss the old Google Play App, it was not perfect, but at least I could use it. These problem I mentioned above has been happening for a very long time and it doesn't seem like Google will fix it anytime soon. Such a shame.

I downloaded all of my films so I could watch them on the plane and hotel when I was in Turkey. I usually download on Netflix, Prime and Apple TV as well so I have a range of different things to watch. Weirdly enough it wouldn’t let me view my content on this app as it needed an internet connection, kind of defeats the point of downloading your films to your phone. Useless app really for taking away on holiday. Won’t be using it again as all it done was use up memory

Downloaded movies to watch on a flight and when I select subtitles they don't load,utterly useless

I bought a 1TB iPad with the intention to download all my movie libraries onto it to watch when travelling and trips away. None of the movies on this app stay downloaded and constantly have to be downloaded again and again, which I have now given up on. This is so frustrating when you’re away and have little or no wi-fi, so I have a lot of movies on this app I cannot enjoy whilst away. I’ve had to buy some of these movies again from the iTunes catalogue so as they’re available for me to watch offline.

App layout itself is fine although being able to group movies in series would be handy. Biggest issue is inability to zoom videos in on an iPhone 10/12/14 etc - which mean black pillarboxijg all round. The YouTube app is better at this but I can’t download for trips without paying the sub on that app. Is that the design? So just give me the YouTube playback interface. Thanks!

If you begin to read all the negative reviews there is a pattern. Well it’s the same for me paid for movies and series shows downloaded to the library have access error. Well nothing available to use . Not impressed so think carefully before you download the app..

I agree with other reviewers, this app feels completely untested. Viewing content from my library is a farcically bad experience. The menus are incapable of displaying information correctly (e.g series). Handling of progress is non existent. I don’t want to buy in the Apple walled garden but this experience forces me to.

This worked fine when I first downloaded the app, now it’s hit & miss if it shows it not
