Apple Home app connect to socket without a problem, but the manufacturer’s app can’t and an app has so many bugs.

The default iPhone home app is detecting and connecting the WiFi socket. But gosund app can’t find or connect the device. Network is 2,4 ghz. I will apprise some help.

The latest update to this app feels like the developer spent more time putting in new features than ensuring they work. For example, once you set a schedule you can’t remove it. I removed the schedule and the outlets still turn off as if it were still active.

As soon as the app is opened i get bombarded with ads. It’s so annoying. I am never buying anything from them again

Every time, yes every time you open the App to turn on or off a device you will have to close out an app that is covering your smart plug to perform a desired action. If not for all the “in your face” adds I would give this 5 stars.

I’ve been using it a while and there’s no way to log in or get any help because if you don’t have the original account login you can’t reset the password! WHY FOR AN UPDATE YOU ERASE THE ACCOUNT AND LOGIN????? Simple stuff who does that

I am fairly tech savvy so when I connected my mini plugs that trigger my Christmas lights as I have for the past 4 years and NONE of them responded to routines in Alexa or the Gosund app, I reached out to customer service. 10+ emails later, neither the Gosund app nor Alexa app are working according to the schedules that I have set. Every night, none come on as scheduled. I have to manually to them on in the Gosund app. On different nights, I have had different mini plugs come on. No consistent pattern. At the end of the night, 10 of the 12 go out according to the schedule. I just installed a new, stronger router so I know that connectivity is not the issue. That tells me that this is a software/app issue. I’ve shared that several times in my emails but no one is acknowledging it. Please investigate.

Don’t buy this type of light bulb. Doesn’t connect to the wifi. I’ve tried linking 4 different lights. They timeout before they connect to the wifi. The app is horrible. If I could give them zero stars, I would.

Bought a thumb print door knob and it will not charge. When it’s not charged it will not lock. Defeats the whole purpose of keeping teens out of the bar.

So annoying to get sales spam messages thru your app almost every day. If you want to be spammed continuously then this is the app to use.
