I understand how having access to wifi and Bluetooth could help discover nearby devices. But you don't need my GPS coordinates. GPS could be useful for some features like weather based routines. But those features aren't required for basic pairing. I will change my review once you stop requiring GPS coordinates to pair devices.

When I first got this app I had to figure out how to pair the devices but after that, it was pretty easy and it was worth my time pairing the mini smart plugs because now I can just turn on my lamp with a press of a button when I want to do my crafts since I have my lamp plugged into the mini smart plug

Expensive Trash Essentially

Everything stopped working. Tried several times to reset/ reinstall/ new passwords new WiFi nothing will get a connection. Is this so I have to buy new stuff?

I’ve enjoyed the apps and the smart plugs for several years now. They’ve always worked great and I really valued the ability to schedule my lights to go on and off. Recently, however, whenever I try to change a schedule, I get a network error message and the change doesn’t go through. All I can do now is turn lights on and off remotely. Please fix!

I started out by buying a four pack of smart plugs which I used for lamps to illuminate while on vacation and then also for my Christmas tree lights and the Christmas lights outside. Very easy to use the app and to set on/off scheduling. More recently I was in the market for smart wall switches and bought a Gosund 2 pack again as the prices were competitive and I knew the app worked well. Very pleased with the functionality of these devices and the app.

The latest update appears to have deleted previous schedules I’ve had programmed for lights. When I created new schedules, the old schedules are still active, but not visible to delete in the scheduling page.

I’ve started receiving push notifications from this app, trying to sell me “Blessed Bags” for a limited time only, priced in Great British Pounds. British pounds is not a currency where I live, and I don’t see what “Blessed Bags” could possibly have to do with smart plugs! To make matters worse, when I go to the app, to try to figure out where this bizarre clickbait-looking alert is coming from, they tell me I have no alerts, even though there’s a red dot next to notifications.

Gosund was the first brand of smart switch that I used and initially I was very happy with them. However, over the past 3 years I have found that the app will periodically delete all of my devices. I don’t know what causes this. My Gosund devices will all stop working and when I open the app it has logged me out. When I log back in, all of my devices are gone and I have to go through the process of setting everything back up again. This is very annoying and I would not recommend these devices or this app to anyone.
