Useless instructions. Might as well say good luck on the box. Cluttered busy interface with useless settings and jibberush taking up space to make it look scientific

I haven’t be able to turn on/off my string lights with an Alexa voice command since an update in September 2024. I can only control the string lights with the Govee app now, which means I’m the only one in the house that can control our string lights. Worked perfect before.

Why is this app so fragmented. Trying to set a timer for a single light or a group of lights is so counterintuitive. Screens are cluttered with irrelevant sections. There are help videos but there are so many steps to do the simplest of things, they are impossible to follow. Seriously Govee sort your **** out. The lights are great but massively let down by this app.

App always has trouble connecting to device on my iPad. Followed every instruction multiple times but no success. Every time I open app it says not connected. Can connect after unplugging and rebooting every time. Once connected, can’t set the on/off timers. App says the correct times but doesn’t tell the lights to turn on or off. Also can’t get into the app menus to change themes and colors. HELP!

Most confusing app I’ve ever used. Not the least bit intuitive

I use Govee for temperature monitoring it was very reliable in the past however, now I usually see Bluetooth error, stuck on 0% or stuck on 95%. It takes many tries to get the history from the devices. 2 months later latest version still sticks at 96% requires closing and reopening the program many times to complete a download of data from any temperature device. GV makes.

This may be the worse app I have ever tried using. I can’t log in and then it locks me out. There is no Matter qr code anywhere on the product.

All Govee products are amazing

I’ve bought quite a few products over the years and typically have little to no problem. I have quite a few of their G coins that you get when buying products. They claim that you can use them for up to 10% of the amount of your purchase. I’m trying to buy Christmas lights and they’re pricey, so I wanted to take off about $30-$40 from my sale. Nope. Maxed out G coins at 10 ($2 worth) and said “This product only goes up to 10% of the purchase amount, which is $2” The order is for $300+, meaning I should be able to use a ton of them. What a ripoff.
