Grocery List: Out of Milk

I do like this app and it is quite useful, but it has a really annoying ‘bug’ where the order of the lists randomly shuffle while you are using it, so if you are going through the pantry list to add items to your shopping list, you have to double and triple check things because items you hadn’t got to could have randomly moved to the top…

I’ve been using this app for a while now and have been happy with it. Just lately though it seems to have started using lots of phone battery power. Has anything changed? For instance it shows the previous 24 hours to have used 41% of power, having been used 1 minute on-screen and 5 off.

The app works well but due to new apple privacy features I’ve now noticed the app automatically reads the clipboard every time you open or close the app, regardless of if you actually want to copy or paste! I don’t know what they’re doing with this data but people often copy and paste passwords so be warned that this app is reading everything you’re copy pasting even if you don’t want it to!! I will be deleting it now for these privacy reasons; there is no reason for them to do this unless they’re trying to harvest every last bit of data they can

Quite new to this app. Looks good, easy on the eye layout and good that you can choose categorisation. Seems to link to Google Home reasonably well, and so far so good on synchronising the lists between the app on my phone and what I tell Google home to add. However, every single barcode I have tried to scan it is not recognised, no matter how many times you ‘retry’.

Generally works ok and multiple users can share one list. However many times you delete unwanted categories, they keep reappearing because the app keeps suggesting categories not in the list. The whole point on using the categories is to put the items in an order to be useful in the shop. I’ve asked OOM support and they cannot be amended or deleted

Excellent, when it’s working. Syncs to-do and shopping lists across two devices. Easy and intuitive to use.

A great little app very useful to see everything I have available! I had no idea how much food I actually had! I only have two issues. 1. When I select something checked off my shopping list i only have the option to delete it from the shopping list, instead of selecting to add it to my pantry/fridge lists. 2. When an item has been deleted from fridge/pantry list (because it’s empty) when I re add it to these lists I have to set it up again. I thought the app had a memory so we didn’t have to keep adding previously used items.

I have been using this app for ages and it’s been great but today I tried to print my list but It will not let me print my shopping list. Jethro

Amazing little app and I’d prefer to buy a version but can’t see an option lol

In general we like the app but there are a few real annoyances which could be easily resolved. - Provide a search feature so that we can search on a pantry list item to then add it to a shopping list. The lack of this means that duplicate pantry list items are regularly created. - Allow alphabetic sorting of both the pantry list and shopping lists within a category - Stop auto categorising new pantry entries. Invariably the auto categorisation is incorrect. I can foresee that if these issues remain, we would eventually cease to use the app. They are such obvious oversights.
