Really good
Most other gym apps have a subscription base which is the most dumb thing ever I may as well use a notebook but this, it’s different it’s just convenient for a low price entry

Thanks to this app running in the background, my apple health dats is way off. It thinks i haves been working out for hours causing false calorie and exercise minute readings. Also no way to undo an accidental skipped set on the watch.
I tested this one and all the competitors I could find a few years ago. GymBook was the best by a mile. It's very good. However, it isn't easy to find exercises. I'm sure they could be grouped better and named more consistently. Alternative names might when searching for exercises too.
Such a great app and nice to see a developer not forcing a subscription. It is so flexible for planning workouts and helpful in showing which parts of the body are worked by each exercise.
I have been used other gym track apps but wasn’t satisfied. Then , find gym book and I am 100% satisfied, and it’s one time purchase and it’s not a subscription like other apps do. Plenty of workouts that can added to our workout plan. Definitely deserved for five star. Thanks.
Best app for bodybuilding on the Apple Store. Super complete list of exercises, easy to use and especially finally an app that you purchase without one time off payment
Using generic spreadsheets provided by an online program is all well and good however there’s always the weird exercise you either hate or don’t have the kit for. Once I’d gained some weight training experience, I wanted to create my own program based on ‘best’ exercises for muscle group growth, which meant a heat map would be ideal to ensure I was hitting all the major muscle groups, this app has this. I took the apps premium option which at under $10 was a bargain. Next it was down to the exercises, most but not all are in the app with form animations, those that aren’t can be added manually by including the target and secondary muscles. With the program designed it was onto the workouts, most of the icons in the app are multifunctional with press/hold revealing different features, at first this is frustrating but soon becomes a great way to navigate the app whilst keeping its appearance uncluttered. One great feature I want to highlight is the customisable rest period timer between sets, this is great for focusing on your rest without having to constantly watch check. As you can see the previous logs for each exercise when it comes to reviewing and adjusting for progressive overload, it’s really easy to make your periodic adjustments. My spreadsheet has been retired and this app is now my gym companion. Not 5 stars as the features could be better explained in an onboarding post
I tested this one and all the competitors I could find a few years ago. GymBook came out on top easily. It's very good. Now I'm not a pro gym goer, but the exercise machine names do seem inconsistent. I think they need attention, and I think alternative names should be included to help when searching. Also, the download is huge and updates are frequent. Can it not be smaller? Maybe vector graphics instead of bitmaps, or indexed colour instead of RGB?
This is unbelievably good! I’ve used it for about a year and finally felt compelled to write a review as it’s just so incredible. Firstly - it’s a one and done fee, I’ve never been charged a penny more which feels so rare (if not virtually impossible) these days. Moving through the app during a workout is frictionless and fast. And the library of exercises is top tier. Super easy for any fitness level to follow. I was completely new to the gym and by your 2nd week it’s easy to feel the sense of reward seeing graphs with your progress. Only two suggestions are community packs (ie. It would be great to download workouts curated by others, not just mine) and slightly cleaner UI (it’s the best out there for gym tracking but still feels a little dated). Great work team!! Cannot recommend this app enough. It’s easily in the top 5 apps on my phone that I use weekly.
Syncs with health, no subscriptions so far so good- I’ve tried Strong, Strength Log this is shaping up to be my favourite.
