Here Comes the Bus

This app is absolutely garbage when I logged in it showed my to buttons which called the number that was supposed to be my student ID I wish I could rate it 0 stars I rated it 5 so you can see this

This is a great way to know where your child’s bus is at all times. As well as knowing your child got on the bus safely because it shows that they scanned to get on.

I was excited that our district made this service available, but the app isn’t good at all, as you would expect from nearly any technology adopted by a school district. Technology that doesn’t work as expected is useless.

I love that I can keep track of when the bus is coming both to pick the kids up as well as to keep track when they arrive. So nice to have the convenience of monitoring the bus instead of guessing if it’s running late. Use this every day!!😊

I wish we had this app growing up I wouldn’t have missed the bus so much lol

What’s the point if the app never works. App says not in service. Waste of time 🙄

I wish there were more school districts you can add but overall the app is really good 👍

Our school has the parents use this app. It’s a great concept except when there is a bus substitute which happens a lot, we can’t track the bus so the app is useless. There should be a way for the bus driver to still use it even if she has to drive a different bus for our route. Also, the app constantly logs me out or tells me my password is incorrect (which it’s not)…I’ll ignore it and try it the next day and it’s fine.

The app is great. I appreciate being able to track the kids. It hasn’t worked seamlessly but I’m definitely grateful. It would be amazing if we could see the # of stops ahead of us like Amazon does with their delivery of packages.

Hoping to provide constructive criticism here. This is a truly, poorly designed app. Navigation is not at all intuitive; it uses different terminology for the same thing (“School District Code” AND “School Code”); when you’ve reviewed a page and want to go back, it returns you to a different page than you were on before; “Push Notifications”—instead of a check mark, the box is either colored or uncolored—since that just looks like an empty box, you must tap it to confirm whether it’s selected or not. I stopped using the “within radius notifications” because, by the time I was notified, the bus was right in front of me. I have deleted the app twice because I found it frustrating and largely useless. I only re-downloaded it (with dread) to see if our bus times were loaded the day before school (they weren’t). :-/ Well-worn and world tested design principles for intuitive user interfaces (UI) are readily available. Please hire an experienced designer (with a great track record) to apply them to an overhaul of this app. It could greatly improve the user experience (UX) and result in the oft-desired outcomes of higher utilization and user engagement rates.
