Ruined app with poor ux
Long time ex-user of here we go. But since they redesigned the app some years ago, it became useless. It is impossible to save locations with meaningful names as the app is forcing default and meaningless street names. When traveling or planning a trip one wants to save locations eg, airbnb, POI, hotel, client office etc, not some collection of random and easy to forget street names. Why cripple the app in such a way is beyond understanding. It seems that developers do not use their own app. Very poor ux. UPDATE - response to Developers: Developers suggest that it is possible to rename the location, sure it is. But have you tried it in real life situations? Imagine you’re planing a trip to another country or a holiday roadtrip and you have many points of interest to save. The workflow to organize and name locations would be as follows: 1. find a location 2. save it and REMEMBER the address(!!) 3. Add to collection 4. Go back to see all collections 5. Scroll to find the right collection (I have 30+ collections, so lots of scrolling) 6. RECALL the weird foreign street name of the place you just saved and scroll to find it (lots of scrolling if the collection is not empty) 7. Click the dots 8. Click rename 9. Rename 10. Done Now if you have multiple locations to save, just multiply these steps by the number of locations and spend half a day scrolling between locations and trying to recall the various foreign street names. Great UX is it? Developer do you actually use your own app? In early versions it used to be something like this: 1. Save location 2. Select collection 3. Optionally Rename location (the street name can be used as a default name) 4. Done No scrolling, no memorizing of the street names, no useless clicking.
