Invaluable Learning Tool to Get Native Insight
Finally, a place to get quickly (emphasis on this. On average for me 5~10 minutes for me) to get answers to nuanced questions and language quirks that you can’t read about in textbooks! This is my one-stop-shop for those weird “only natives would know this” questions that don’t require long, drawn out explanation, and just a bit of experience. For things like “what’s the difference between two very similar phrases” or “what’s the connotation of this word vs a synonym” it’s perfect! People are friendly and helpful in general. The app promotes quick responses. It’s got a bunch of other functionality for pronunciation, culture, etc. but I mainly use it in the way I’ve discussed above.
